One of the most exciting parts of a new 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:World of Warcraft expansion are the cinematic trailers. Over the years, they have produced iconic moments such as Illidan’s “You are ಞnot prepared!” But which Warcraft expansion cinematic trailer is the best?
Each expansion cinematic is incredible in its own right. They showcase the talent of all those that work on producing them. With visuals, animations, and sound ready for the big screen. It’s safe to say most of us are still craving 🌊a Warcraft film made in the animated style of these epic installments.
10 🦹 World Of Warcraft: Dragonflight 🅘
Despite the well-received expansion, the Dragonflight announcement trailer doesn’t hit the same. It shows the beauty of the Dragon Isles and the heroic journey of a titanic watcher, Koranos. Yet the tension of the cinematic builds for several minutes before getting to 💯that big hype moment. Many of the other trailers on this list get to the point much faster and keep the excitement going.
The arrival of the Dragon Queen Alexstrasza feels like players are also returning home to Azeroth after the two years spent in the Shadowlands. You may have noticed the Dragonblight theme from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. It subtly adds to the idea of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:dragons returning to where they lived, whereas Dragonblight was known to 💮be where many of them went to die.
9 World Of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade ♔
The Burning Crusade expansion cinematic showcases the new races and the abilities of classes. The mage using the polymorph spell on an enemy, t▨urning it into a s🌠heep, adds that little bit of Warcraft humor too. Yet, it also shows you the fun you can have in this class.
You also get to see a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:blood elf Paladin in action as she resurrects a fallen orc.💮 It’s a cool way to showcase the once Alliance-specific class finally being playable in the Horde. Seeing a Warcraft 3 character is also exciting for those that played the game. Illidan’s arrival sets the tone of the expansion well as you adventure into Outland.
8 World Of Warcraft: Mists Of Pandaria ꦕ
The cinematic trailer for Mists of Pandaria is one of the most beautiful. It showcases the epic scenery of the new continent and covers how you&rsq🍌uo;ll end up there. The music is flawless, and the characters are great representations of the players. There’s a touch of humor that also adds more flavor than more ser🤡ious expansion trailers.
The introduction of the Pandaren via this trailer was done well. We got to see the age-old battle of orc vs. human, and how the Pandaren are what the horde and alliance should🧸 aspire to be like. They are peaceful, fighting for family and their home, rather than because of old hatreds.
7 World Ofꦉ Warcraft: Catacl♍ysm
Th♍e Cataclysm expansion trailer shows Deathwing’s awakening as he destroys various locations across Azeroth. The animators choose pretty distinct locations that are easy to recognize for players. This helps you feel the gravity of Deathwing’s actions.
This expansion trailer sets Deathwing up as the formidable force that he is and shows nowhere is safe. This is especially the case when he casually lands atop the city walls of Stormwind. It is a great way to feel what is at stake and how important it is to grab your weapons and take the fight to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the fallen Dragon Aspect.
6 World Of Warcraft: Classic 🐼
The trailer for the base game of WoW shows you the different classes and races you can be. It focused on you as the player, which🔯 differs from 𒀰most cinematic trailers aside from that of The Burning Crusade expansion trailer. Classic encapsulates exactly what it’s like to delve into WoW for the first time, make your choices, and go on an adventure.
The cinematic starts by showing you the world map as a voiceover recalls the growing conflicts you’ll be thrust into. The trailer does not favour any specific race or class, but rather shows▨ how epic each of them can be in their own ways.
5 World Of Warcraft: Leg﷽ion
The Burning Legion are Azeroth’s greatest enemy and the Legion expansion calls WoW veterans to battle once again. The Legion cinematic trailer showed the reality of a soldier at war as Varian writes a final letter to his son. You also get to se🏅e how epic it is to have horde and alliance characters standing as one.
The Legion cinematic felt like a dedication to Varian’s leader⛎ship and sacrifice as the king of the alliance. We see his final struggle and a brief moment of doubt before his iron will surges him out of the sea and into the heat of battle. The battle cry of “For Azeroth” resonates with its champions as both factions put aside their hatred to fight against a common foe.
4 ꦑ World Of Warcraft: Shadowlands ♏
Despite not being as well received as other cinematics due to the unclear storytelling, the cinematic it✱self is incredible and showcases just how powerful Sylvanas has become. Seeing Iceജcrown Citadel as it pans into focus no doubt takes you back to your first time seeing it in Northrend. It’s eerie watching Sylvanas slowly make her ascent, with the undead moving out of her way. Perhaps because they recognize her as one of them, or maybe they sense the Jailer’s unbridled power within her.
The helm of domination sequence has you on the edge of your seat. The monumental act of literally shattering the sky will easily go down in Warcraft history as one of the most memorable moments. Whilst many people didn't like the depiction of the new Lich King, it was certainly fascinating to watch Sylvanas get some form of satisfaction from fighting the thing she hated the most.
3 World Of ♕Warcraft: B꧑attle For Azeroth
The Battle for 🃏Azeroth expansion cinematic trailer is easily one of the most epic. It depicts the battle for the Undercity as the alliance seeks vengeance. Anduin now must step up and try to fill his father’s boots, whilst Sylvanas faces the consequence of her actio𒉰ns.
Nothing will beat Sylvanas screaming “For the horde!” and going banshee mode, but Anduin's healing abilities certainly impressed the Dark Lady. It’s the perfect trailer for those old-school fans that enjoy the faction war above all else.
2 𒆙 Wo𓆉rld Of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor
The Warlords o💛f Draenor expansion was a throwback to the roots of Warcraft. It even uses the same scenes from a cinematic from Warcraft 3, with minor yet awesome differences. It features a significant moment that leads to the series as we know it. The corruption of the orcs being rewritten due to Garrosh’s involvement was monumental and created massive hype for the expansion.
The previous expansion, Mists of Pandaria, showed the horde turning on itself. This cinematic trailer showed the birth of a new horde that is even stronger than the original, as it is being influenced by Garrosh. In the final moments, we see Grom almost fall before being saved unknowingly by his son. It's a fantastic moment for the characters.
1 𝔉 World Of Warcr🍃aft: Wrath of the Lich King
Most players will attest to the incredible storytelling and character arc of Arthas Menethil in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Warcraft 3. His fall from grace and rise as the Lich King are iconic moments, and the Licꦦh King is certainly the most memorable villain.
The voiceover of Arthas’ father talking to him, as you see what he has become, will always give you chills. The icy corpse of a risen Sindragosa also adds to that, though. Seeing her smashing out of the ice and flying over the thousands of undead real📖ly showed what a force Arthas had become. The music is🐷 breathtaking, a haunting hymn that hails this king to reign forevermore.
