Where To Upgrade Gear In The War Within

A bronze Dracthyr named Cuzolth will upgrade your gear. He can be found in Dornogal, in a room called Mythic Aspirations, straight ahead from the Foundation Hall. ♑From here, simply talk to him to begin upgrading your gear.

How To Upgrade Gear In The War Within

The Enchanting Supplies NPC, Llande, in Dornogal in World of Warcraft: The War Within.

Gear can be upgraded via two currencies: Valorstones and Harbringer Crests. Valorstones are obtained through most sources, including World Quests, Mythic+ Dungeons, Raids, rares, and some end-game quests.

Your character can only carry 2000 Valorstones at a time, so keep an eye out and keep spending.

Harbringer Crests, however, come in four types: Weathered, Carved, Runed, and Gilded. Below is a comprehensive table of each type of crest a🍰nd where they are obtained.

How To Exchange Crests

A blue Dracthyr named Vaskarn will exchange your crests for the downgraded versions if you have enough. He can be found right next to Cuzolth. Each exchange will cost 15x of the higher crest. ജFor instance, It will cost 15 G🦄ilded Harbringer Crests to get 15 Runed Harbringer Quests.

How To Upgrade Crests

Additionally, those with characters at level 70 or higher with Khaz Algar Enchanting can craft upgraded crests. Nascent Crests can first be bought from Llande, Dornogal's Enchanting Supplies NPC, who is located at a stand towards the southeast entrance.

She will exchange 30x Weathered Crests for one Nascent Weathered Crest, 45x Runed Crests for one Nascent Runed Crest, and 90x Gilded Crests for one Nascent Gilded Crest. These Nascent Crests can then be combined with the items below to become Enchanted versions of themselves:
