168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty pits you against significant characters from China's Three Kingdoms Era, and one of Cao Cao's generals, Xiahou Dun, is one such boss you must face down. This fight involves a lot of fire-elemental damage, so be prepared.
As is historically accurate in the Three Kingdoms timeline, Xiahou Dun gets shot in the eye by a stray arrow and famously eats it on the batt🧸lefield. 🔜The less historically-accurate part introduced by Wo Long is that this triggered him to transform into a demon wreathed in flame. Bring Water Wizardry and change any armour for fire-defence scaling gear for this battle.
Xiahou Dun Boss Fight Strategy
Depending on how much of a troll Xiahou Dun wants to be in this fight, he could choose to open the fight with a charging Critical Strike right off the bat. If he does, you need to be prepared to get out of the way or stand your ground for the deflection.
The strike has a huge wind-up. He will fly tow🃏ards you, pause to do 🗹a backflip in the air, and then swing with his axe.
If this attack connects, he will grab you. The attack ends when he swings you to the floor. This attack could kill you in one hit, depending on your level.
Regardless of whether Xiahou Dun charges towards you with a Critical Strike, he will close the distance one way or the other. You'll want to keep your guard up as you approach him or let him come to you.
Don't be intimidated by him flying around all the time, his attacks are wild, but you can block them with impunity. Keep an eye on your Spirit and try to attack if it gets too low.
We recommend using Water magic, such as Ice Weapon, because you can easily inflict the freeze debuff on him.
This will stagger him for a few seconds, giving you time to strike.
Even though Xiahou Dun is on fire, his axe swings are not imbued with the element, meaning you don't need to worry about blocking his attacks and having fire damage slip through.
He does like to dodge around a lot. This makes him hard to hit, so the best practice is to stay close to him and wait for his attacks to finish, us🐎ually with him pausing for a second after comple🐼ting a combo.
If you have enough Spirit, you can safely block all his attacks and then go on the offensive yourself.
Throughout the fight, he will create patches of fire with his attacks and movements. These should be avoided, but don't worry too much about them because the damage they deal is negligible.
If you're extra worried about them, cast a Water spell near them to counter and remove the flames.
Double-check your armour for fire defence and any resistance to the blaze debuff.
Staying too far away from Xiahou Dun will cause his AI to use long-reaching attacks that also cover a huge distance. These attacks have multiple swings and hits, maki🐻ng them hard to prꦓedict and harder to dodge.
Because of his flying attacks, you'll want to try and stay in a close or medium range to keep up the offensive and stop him from dominating the arena. This is especially useful because you want to bait out a specific attack of his that you can punish and exploit to no end.
Xiahou Dun has an attack with a long wind-up animation and a long rest period after the swing.
When using the attack, he will hold a position in the a🀅ir befꦺore swinging.
Try and deflect the slam as you see his axe move towards the ground. Or, if you want, do▨dge to the side of the attack to avoid it.
As he hits the floor, he will stay put for a few seconds, giving you an excellent opportunity to deal significant damage to him while he resets to his norm🃏al stance.
Don't forget to use your Martial Arts when you ꦰhave p🥃ositive Spirit to enhance the damage you do.
When he's at half HP, he will get enraged and fly around the arena, shooting fireballs out in a random pattern. This move isn't anything dangerous, so don't worry when you see him do this. Stay out of the fire and wait for him to land.
As he lands, you get another chance to deal damage, so capitalise on these moments throughout the fight. Deflecting his Critical Strikes will also ground him for a few seconds while extinguishing his flames.
As an added bonus, you will naturally have Xiahou Yuan with yo🍌u for this B🌃attlefield and boss fight.
He will do well to act as a distractioꦗn and get cheap 🌼shots on the boss.
Being in close proximity to Xiahou Dun will mean you probably won't see his Critical Strike, but you should try to deflect as many of his hits as you can since each deflected ꦫblow will shrink his Spirit gauge and make it easy to infl😼ict a stance break.
Keep on the offensive, and always try to back away if you need to heal. Remember that using Ice Weapon or other ice magic will let you debuff him. This debuff can trigger multiple times throughout the fight, and each time you do, he will be staggered for a brief moment.
