Lu Bu is fought twice throughout the story of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The first f✤ight against him occurs during the main Battlefield, the Battle of Hulaoguan Pass.
Fighting Lu Bu at the end of this mission is particularly difficult, but you have a Battle Flag rest point directly outside the boss arena t๊o make up for this. There are two main phases to deal with in this fight, but they repeat depending on how long the battle takes. Lu Bu will begin the fight atop his legendary horse, the Red Hare.
Phase One Battle Strategy
As soon as the fight starts, Lu Bu will either charge you on horseback or shoot at you with his bow. Depending on his opening, be ready to block or deflect. Your goal for the first phase is to inflict a stance break, knocking him off his horse to make him easier to hit and deal damage to.
You have no Followers with you by default in this mission, so we suggest bringing in two allies to help.
In true 'Dynasty Warriors' fashion, Lu Bu will ride up to you and swing wildly with his halberd. The best thing you can do to reduce his Spirit Gauge is to deflect his attacks. He runs away too much for you to keep up with him and keep hitting him, so you have to watch your timing and give🍒 cha🥂se if he starts shooting arrows at you.
The best way to stance break Lu Bu is to deflect his Critical Strike. He will glow red, swing, and then leap into the air and descend on you in this attack. As ever, these attacks cannot be blocked, so if you can't hit the deflection you will just have to try and dodge out of the way.
Don't spam the deflection button.
If it makes you feel safer, hold the block button while the 🐈attack is happening.
Try to deflect the hit when you see him coming down to get the timing.
Lu Bu likes to ride away and fire arrows at you. If you don't close the distance, he will continue to shoot arrows at you. During this attack, you can block them to negate the damage, or, if you're feeling fancy, you can try to deflect them and dance your way closer to Lu Bu, whacking him with a fully-charged Spirit attack or Martial Arts move at the end.
Lu Bu favours his right side with attacks on horseback, so try and stay to hi🌜s left. |
However you choose to fight Lu Bu, your goal is to damage his Spirit. The best way to do this is to deflect and hit when you can. Eventually, you can hit him with a Fatal Str𝐆ike, knocking him off Red Hare and triggering the second phas💮e of the battle.
Phase Two Battle Strategy
Now you've knocked Lu Bu off his horse, he will become even more dangerous and change up his attacks. Depending on how much damage you've done to him in the first phase, he might power himself up as soon as he's on foot.
Red Hare will patrol and dash around the edge of the arena in this phase.
Coming into contact with the horse will damage you.
Doing so will increase his damage and imbue his halberd and bow with fire-element attacks. Now his attacks will effectively hit you twice, one instance will be the physical damage, and a second instance will come through as fire damage, meaning you should stop relying on blocking while Lu Bu is enraged.
Blocking will only hurt you due to fire damage chipping through your guard.
Try and equip Fire-aligned armour to increase your resistance to that Virtue.
While on foot, he has an extremely powerful and wide-range Critical Strike you need to watch out for. It comes out fast, and it isn't immediately obvious that it's a Critical Strike.
Lu Bu will raise his halberd into the air for a second and it will flash with fire. He will then strike the ground once and vault himself into the air. While in the air, he will trigger his Critical Strike, which is a downward slam. The ♛timing to deflect this attack is tricky because there is ꧟a short pause before he swings down.
Keep an eye on where he is in the sky.
Deflect as soon as you see him move his halberd down to begin descending.
On foot, Lu Bu will use a rotation of halberd swings and bow attacks. His halberd attacks are wide, almost always reaching behind him and to the sides to stop you from sneaking in any attacks if he's going after your Followers.
With that said, they are heavy and well-telegraphed, making deflection easier. When using his bow, he will now shoo𓆉t more arr🌠ows out in a fan, or they will come out in a cluster.
You can jump over the fan spread of arrows, but you won't know which type he will fire until he does it.
The best time to get in some damage is when he's using his bow attacks on your Followers. He will completely ignore you for the duration of the attack, meaning you're free to wail on him from the side and back with impunity.
His third Critical Strike might catch you out since it has an awkwardly long wind-up and an even more awkward hitbox. 𝓰He will twirl his halberd around, digging it in🎶to the floor behind him before charging forward towards you.
If you're close to him when he uses it, Lu Bu will almost always run around you in a large circle. This is a great way to reliably 🌊dodge it.
If he's charging at you, you have to wait until he swings to get the deflection.
His actual charging animation doesn't have attack frames on it, so it's designed to catch you out.
When you deal enough damage, or if enough time has passed, Lu Bu will leap back onto Red Hare and the first phase will repeat. You don't have to knock him off his horse to kill him, so don't worry if he repeats any phases.
We would not recommend using ranged bow attacks to deal damage since it takes far too long to aim and shoot. Instead, rely on melee, deflections, and magic-imbued Wizardry tꦫo whittle down his HP.
His horseback Critical Strike is by far the easiest to parry, so if you see him do it, try your luck until you learn the timing. As ever, if you struggle with him,𓆏 consider using Followers to distract him.
