Baishe is a boss fight in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. You face her at the halfway point through the sixth Main Battlefield♊, Fall of the Corrupted Eunuch, serving as a checkpoin𝔍t to the second half of the level.
While she might only be a sub-boss in this fight, with the main event lying in wait at the end of the mission, Baishe will give you a run for your money if you're not prepared. She has a ton of wide-ranged attacks, and she can produce several pools of poison to hinder you. Defeating Baishe is the only way to progress the level.
Baishe Boss Fight Strategy
More often than not, Baishe will begin the fight by firing out six or so globes of poison. They will fire off randomly from her in all directions, creating a small pool of poison wherever they land. These pools should be avoided simply because they will infꦏlict you with the poison debuff if you stand in them too long.
The poison pools are small and easy to navigate, so you'll probably find that the most troubling of her attacks is a tail swipe that has an incredibly deceptive range, completely covering her in a circle. This means it will hit you if you're standing behind her, so keep that in mind.
You can clear out the poison pools, which count as Earth magic, by using Wood magic.
For example, enchanting your weapon with lightning while near the poison will cause them to dissipate.
Baishe will use her tail attack several times throughout the fight if you're trying to stay at medium range. When close, you'll find she only uses it if you're behind her. This means the next attack to keep an eye on is her flurry of close-quarter swings.
You might find that before she launches this attack, she will dodge to the left, right, or towards you to reposition. Time your swings carefully and wait for her to finish dodging to get a hit in, and then be prepared to block.
Baishe Critical Strikes
Baishe uses two powerful Critical Strikes in this fight, with one being much harder to deflect than the other. If you can deflect the tougher one, you're rewarded with a significant stagger, bringing Baishe down for a good two seconds or so.
Her second critical strike is rarer, only coming out when she's at low HP.
- Twin swipe - Baishe will attack with her two snake tentacles in a cross, resulting in a nasty grab attack if it connects properly. She will spam this move, which is a pain but if you're good at deflecting, it just means more openings.
- Spinning attack from above - Baishe will only use this move while enraged and at less than half HP. The strike will come from above, but because of this, it is very simple to deflect since her whole body counts as part of the attack animation. This means you should deflect as soon as you see her descending on you.
This boss fight will be the first time you might see your Followers getting killed. Sadly, they become increasingly useless as you progress through the game, and you shouldn't be relying on them too heavily from now on. With that said, you have Cao Cao with you by default, but having an extra Follower won't hurt you in this fight.
There seems to be something about this fight that causes the boss to attack your Followers more aggressively than you. You might find that Cao Cao and whoever else you brought with you will be tanking them in a corner somewhere, complaining about being hit so much.
Use this to your advantage to rack up a multi-hit combo and finish it off with a charged attack, followed by a reliable Martial෴ Arts move.
Giving Baishe more Followers to deal with will𒁏 further occupy her, giving you breathing room.
Except for one Critical Strike, Baishe's physical and standard attacks are extremely easy to deflect. They ar🔯e slow and well-telegraphed, meaning you can deflect a bunch to create openings and slowly decrease her overall S꧂pirit Gauge with successful deflections.
One main strategy for defeating Baishe is perfecting the deflect timing on her grab Critical Strike since ꦇit opens🃏 a huge window of opportunity.
If you're getting grabbed more often than you're deflecting this strike, you should specifically dodge away from her during this strike.
Past half HP, she will power up and create an AoE of red thorns like other bosses. During this frenzy, she will attack faster and pull out different moves. Notably, she will use her second Critical Strike. While Baishe is powering up, you can stay close and get in several strong hits.
You can summon your Divine Beast to stagger her during her charging-up animation.
While enraged, she will fly around the arena a lot and throw several strong attacks at you. Your best bet is to block and risk deflections when you feel comfortable. If you can deflect her spinning Critical Strike, you'll knock her down and interrupt her frenzy for a short period.
During this time, keep up your attacks and hit her with fatal strikes when you break her guard. She's only a sub-boss, so she shouldn't give you too much trouble, especially if you have two Followers with you.
Eventually, you'll outlast her and be able to proceed to the next part of the mission, where Zhang Rang is waiting for you as the next boss.
