168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has a ton of challenging boss fights. Aoye is fought during the final part of t꧟he fifth Battlefield, In Search of the Immortal Wizard. During this fight, you will have Hong Jing with you, but you can summon a second Follower for help.
Aoye is a fairly large boss, making it easy to get around the side and back of it, but the biggest problem is the wide swings that will reposition itself to stop you from exploiting any open sides. With that in mind, Aoye is slow and most of its attacks won't cause you too much trouble.
Aoye Battle Strategy
As soon as the fight begins, Aoye could choose to leap directly at you. Be prepared to block the hit, or deflect if you're confident with your timing. Due to Aoye's size, you should always try to avoid fighting it head-on. This means trying to let your Followers distract it while you circle to the left or right.
When you find an opening, you should attack for as long as you can. Aoye will swing wide a lot of the time, while some of their other attacks will come straight from above and smash into the floor. The latter attack will create a small shockwave but can be deflected.
Blocking is a good strategy in ꦦthis 🍌fight because nothing will damage through your guard unless it is magical.
Aoye's main attacks will use its tentacles to out-range you, and it will use a charging Critical Strike if you're too far away from it. Your best bet is to stick as close as you can and try not to let it jump away from you. With Followers in this fight, you can get a lot of hits in a short amount of time if you're all surrounding it.
Don't be afraid of the tentacle swings, and be aggressive in this fight. If you need to heal, you should block and try to back up. If you're feeling brave, heal yourself while next to Aoye. One move to watch out for is an attack Aoye will use if you're doing a ton of damage to its back or sides. It will splay out its tentacles and swing wildly, potentially hitting you several times and dealing massive dam𓂃age.
Critical Strikes
As ever, during this boss fight, Aoye will use several unblockable Critical Strikes you'll either have to dodge out of the way or deflect with a well-timed button press. The three times we've fought this boss, we only saw the following two Critical Strikes to deal with:
- Charge attack - Aoye charges forward and runs you over. This move might also be a grab attack if it connects properly, otherwise, you'll just be knocked away. This is the easiest to deflect.
- Tentacle lunge - Aoye will shift to the side and pause while aiming its front-right tentacle at you. During this pause, it is trying to catch you off guard, so don't deflect immediately.
Half Health Power-Up
When Aoye gets to half HP, it will mix in some ice-element-attuned magical attacks. While powering up, Aoye will glow red and create a small AoE of red thorns, also during this animation, Aoye will spit seve🌸ral ice clusters out. T🌳his is how you know Aoye has changed its attacks.
These clusters will create patches of ice that will eventually debuff you with frost if you stay in them too long, and they will deal damage you. If you want, you can use some Fire magic near the ice to counter them, dispelling the ice from the area. Aoye will use another ice attack where it will fire a line of frost vertically in one direction.
Now Aoye is in this phase, it will prioritise the ice attacks more, meaning you can get into close quarters without having to worry too much about wide swings from its tentacles.
Keep attacking and using fire magic to deal damage.
Remember to mix Martial Arts moves into your combos when you have high Spirit.
Stay close and keep up the offensive. You can encourage your Followers to prompt them to use special skills and deal more damage, so remember to use this as well. With the help of Followers and your skill, you should have done enough Spirit damage to get a few Fatal Strikes in, which will finish the fight off nicely.
