The Sporetail is a variant of the Ragetail, the first Kemono you fought in your 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wild Hearts journey. Like the Ragetail, the Sporetail uses its massive tail to attackﷺ, utilizing 🧸its smaller body to dart around the battlefield. However, the Sporetail fights using noxious fumes that can put you to sleep.

Despite their similarities, fighting the Sporetail is quite different than its original version. If you don't come prepared, you may find yourself asleep on the job, unable to defend yourself. Below, we'll take a look at the Sporetail's strengths and weaknesses, the best equipment to use to fight it, and some strategies for victory.

Sporetail - Strengths And Weaknesses

  • Attribute - Wood
  • Soft Parts - Head
  • Attribute Weaknesses - Fire
  • Ailment Weaknesses - Ablaze
  • Attribute Resistances - Water
  • Ailment Resistances - Fatigue, Poison
  • Physical Effectiveness - Slash, Pummel

The Sporetail is weakest to Fire attribute damage, more so than any other element. Likewise, it is weak to the Ablaze ailment, making the Torch Karakuri extremely valuable in this fight. Its weakest spot is its head, but other body parts take almost as much damage fro๊m y🦂our weapons.

The Sporetail resists Water attribute damage, the Poison ailment, and is completely immune to Fatigue. It takes the most damaℱge from Slash🍰 and Pummel weapons like the Karakuri Katana and Mauler, but Lunge-type weapons are close in damage as well.

Best Equipment To Fight Sporetail

Similar to most Kemono, the best armor to use for this fight is actually the armor you unlock upon defeating the Sporetail itself. This armor set provides Fatigue Resilience, reducing the rate at which Fatigue builds up, and has good Wood defense to protect against the Sporetail's elemental attacks, although it doesn't have many.

However, the first time you hunt the Sporetail, you will need to use a different armor set. Luckily, the Veteran Kusazuri pants, crafted using Goldshard materials, provide 13 percent Fatigue Resilience, which isn't a lot but every bit helps. For the rest of your armor, use equipment that has high overall defense, like the Ninja (Lavaback) or Long Reed sets. Alternatively, the Basara (Kingtusk) armor can work, but you'll have to be a bit more careful when taking damage.

For your weapon, you should definitely craft and use a high-damage Fire attribute weapon. The Sporetail takes the most damage from this element, which will make the hunt go faster and help you earn stuns and knockdowns on the Kemono a bit easier. The Lavaback weapons in particular🌊 are great and easy to craft, providꦦed you can hunt the Lavaback a few times.

Sporetail - Fight Breakdown And Moves

This fight will be your first encounter with the Fatigue ailment. As you are hit with Fatigue-inducing attacks, like the Sporetail's spore clouds, the blue Fatigue bar will fill up. When it is full, you will be put to sleep for a few seconds as the bar drains back to zero. Fatigue resilience will reduce the rate at which the bar fills, and the bar will reduce over time as long as you aren't hit with more spores.

Overall, the Sporetail will use similar attacks to its Ragetail counterpart. Expect to see claw slashes, tail swipes, and long-range leaps. After using a few of its attacks, namely its claw slash, it will follow up with a wide-range tail swipe. Be sure to dodge into the Kemono af♏ter it slashes with its claw to get close for a ꧂counterattack.

Unique to the Sporetail is its ability to summon Sporetail Pups to the battle. Every so often, the Sporetail will roar, drawing more Sporetail Pups near. These will protect the large Kemono, attacking with Spore waves and low-damage slashes. Additionally, if the Sporetail gets stunned or knocked down, the Pups will crowd around it and do their best to disrupt you while you try to attack. Although their health is low, the Pups are summoned back so often that it isn't worth focusing on killing them.

Throughout the fight, the Sporetail will stand in place and shake its body, unleashing a wave of spores across the ground. If you move near these clouds, you will be inflicted with Fatigue, so do your best to avoid them. Ranged weapon users can easily move away from the clouds as they travel from the Sporetail, but melee weapon users may have a more difficult time. Use the Glider or Crate Karakuri to get above the clouds if you can.

After the Sporetail has taken enough damage, it will enrage; its tail will glow red and its attacks will increase in strength. When enraged, the Sporetail will attack more fiercely, and its spore-based attacks will be more frequent. Additionally, as it enters the enra💫ged state, it will summon a massive tre🅘e, dealing high Wood damage in the area.

During its enraged state, the Sporetail will periodically sit on its tail before leaping into the air towards you, slamming down in a massive area and dealing damage. When the Sporetail gets up on its tail, get ready to dodge, but remain close to the Kemono for a counterattack, as the Sporetail leaves itself open for a moment after using this attack.
