The Goldshard is a large Kemono in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Wild Hearts that has fused with crystals, covering its back in them like the spikes of a porcupine. The Goldshard will 💯launch volleys of these crystals at its ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚopponents before devasting them with rolling attacks.
The Goldshard can initially seem overwhelming, but once you learn its patterns, this fight is much more manageable. Below, we'll take a look at each of the Goldshard's weaknesses, the best equipment to use to fight it, and some strategies for defeating it.
Goldshard - Strengths And Weaknesses
- Attribute - Earth
- Soft Parts - Head
- Attribute Weaknesses - Wood, Wind
- Ailment Weaknesses - Poison, Fatigue, Frozen, Entangled
- Attribute Resistances - Fire, Earth
- Ailment Resistances - Ablaze
- Physical Effectiveness - Pummel, Lunge
The Goldshard is especially weak to Wood and Wind attribute attacks, but completely resists Fire and Earth. Ailments aren't particularly effective against this Kemono, with it completely resisting the Ablaze ailment.
The Goldshard takes the most damage on its head from Pummel and Lunge weapons, and takes very little damage on its body. There are several Karakuri that work well during this fight, namely the Bulwark fusion and Shield Wall fusion, which you will awaken to while fighting the Goldshard if you have the Crate and Spring equipped.
Best Equipment To Fight Goldshard
Due to the Goldshard's high number of Earth attribute attacks, we recommend equipping armor that has high Earth resistance, like the Grithide set. This equipment will provide decent overall defense and Earth defense, allowing you to survive the Goldshard's high-damage crystal volleys.
We recommend crafting a Wood or Wind weapon for this fight, particularly of the Fumebeak or Kingtusk lines. These weapons 🔴have high base and attribute damage, which will make quick work of the Goldshard.
Goldshard - Fight Breakdown And Moves
The Goldshard mostly attacks with the crystals on its back, launching them in volleys to the front or behind. Although these attacks have a wide range, they are actually easy to avoid if you can predict when they're coming. Before each of its volleys, the Goldshard typically leaps away from you and positions itself for an attack. When you see the Goldshard moving away from you, get ready for a crystal volley.
Sometimes, the Goldshard may attack with its claws to the front twice before launching a crystal volley. This attack leaves the Kemono wide open to attacks to its side or back, as it won't attack these spots during the animation. Use this opportunity to safely damage the Kemono.
In general, the sides of the Goldshard are the safest place to be, as most of its attacks occur to its front or back. However, the Goldshard will occasionally lay on its side before slamming with its crystals, advancing a short distance. Use a Spring Karakuri to get out of the way of this attack, but remain close to counterattack, as the Goldshard will need a second to reco🦂ver a⛎fter using this move.
The Goldshard may also curl into a ball before rolling forward, dealing damage along its path. If you're fast enough, you can dodge out of the way of this attack before getting close to the Goldshard for a counterattack. It may also kick back suddenly before rolling backward, or perform a spin attack before launching a crystal volley.
When the Goldshard has taken enough damage, it will blast the area with large crystals and enter its enraged state. In this state, the Kemono's crystals will grow in size and some of them will glow and turn orange. While enraged,𝓰 the Goldshard becomes more 🌃ferocious, and some of its attacks will change.
The Goldshard's roll attack will be empowered while Enraged. Now, it will curl into a ball, then roll in place for a moment, charging its attack. When it unleashes, it will fly forward, dealing high damage in its path. Luckily, the time it takes the Goldshard to charge this attack gives you enough of an opening to create a Bulwark or Shield Wall Karakuri♊ to repel the attack, knocking the Kemono bac🧜k and creating a large window to attack it.
Using these Karakuri is essential for countering the Goldshard, as its enraged state can be difficult to handle. Each of its volleys will fire a second time, and its claw and side charge attacks will come out more 💞quickly. However, with proper timing and positioning, you can turn the battle in your favor and🍌 prevail.
