While he must recruit other Heroes with the 'Wu' Emblem to get the most out of his high-damaging playstyle, he can dominate with the proper build outside of that.

Focusing on Wisdom, Charm, and Flame will extract the most potential from Zhou Yu, as they will work best with his general combat flow and Actions. He's also very beginner-friendly and is available right from the ꧑jump, which checks all the boxes for 💞being one of the best offerings in the game!

He has excellent mobility and decent range but can deal tremendous damage in short bursts.

Building Wisdom and Flame on Lu Xun is the way to go, as it will also allow you to focus on grabbing Speed and Skill to get even more out of his kit. He has terrific clear potential but can be a bit of a glass cannon if you can't recr💮uit enough Heroes who possess the Wu Emblem to up his Defense passively!

She is very, very strong but can be a bi💝t challenging to play, which is really her only hang-up.

Skill and Wind will be her primary Emblem focuses, as Wཧind will enable her to Disorient enemies at a more consistent rate, feeding back into her Wind of War passive that gets better and better the more Wu Emblems she has. She's evas🧸ive, nimble, and can pack a punch, and won't cost you any Karma Embers to obtain, ꦏas she is also a Starter Hero. If you love being blazing fast while also having the ability to erase large waves of enemies just as quickly, then Kunoichi is the Hero for you!

Additionally, focusing on Charm and Slay will open her playstyle up considerably. Just ensure you are also building Skill Emb🃏lems to gain access𒐪 to her other Actions, as they are very strong and devastating. She can take a bit to get used to, but she will be well worth the Karma Embers!

4 Lu Lingqi

🟩🟩⬛️⬛️

3000 Karma Embers

Lu Lingqi follows and is a blast to play but has a bit of a steep learning curve. In order to get the most out of her playstyle, you must be comfortable with the E💞vade system, and you will have to focus on building up her Speed and Slay Emblems. Her Actions can also take a while to get used to, but they are worth the time inve🐻stment overall.

While Speed and Slay will ultimately be her primary focus, do not tunnel-vision them, as she needs Skill Emblems to unlock all her Actions, which can🌠 clear waves exceptionally well. Most Elemental Emblems pair well with her as well, so don't be afraid to dip your toes into Wind or Ice on top of everything else!

3 Cao Cao

Emblem Focus

Ease of Use

Availability

  • Wisdom
  • Charm
  • Ice

Cao Cao is an interesting Hero in Warriors: Abyss, as he is just effortlessly strong but still offers that exhilarating gameplay you'd want out of each🔥 run. He thrives on having Heroes with the 'Wei' Emblem, as every Emblem boosts his Attack by five percent. Luckily, he also makes those Heroes more likely to appear in the Crystal Saplings, which is excellent.

Wisdom, Charm, and Ice will go a long way in mak🌟ing Cao Cao's Actions shine bright, allowing him to cut down large groups of enemies without breaking a sweat. Ag🎐ain, don't neglect the other Emblems, especially Skill, as you need to unlock more of his kit to get the most out of his devastating gameplay!

🟩🟩⬛️⬛️

1000 Karma Embers

Diaochan is our penultimate choice, which may seem like an odd one, but she is potent if you build her correctly. Acquiring Heroes with the 'Dong Zhuo Army' Emblem will raise her Attack by ten percent per Emblem, which is only the beginning of how deva🧸stating she can be.

Charm will be her primary Emblem to focus on, as each Charm Emblem she obtains will automatically be increased by 50 percent, allowing you to also focus on other things such as Speed, Skill, aꦕnd Elemental Emblems. We strongly recommend Flame and Wind for her, as they work tremendously well with her Actions. She has a steep learning curve, but once you get her basics down, you will be flying through each region with ease!

1 Xu Shu

Emblem Focus

Ease of Use

Availability

  • Wisdom
  • Slay

🟩🟩🟩⬛️

500 Karma Embers

Finally, we have our number one pick, which is Xu Shu. And, if you know anything about the Dynasty Warriors series, this was a gimme. Xu Shu makes things look effortless, as his ability to just delete hundreds of enemies▨ from the screen in an instant is impressive and simultaneously terrifying.

His primary focus should be on Wisdom and Slay,🧜 which can easily be targeted with his Wandering Tactician passive, providing an additional Hero at Crystal Saplings, giving you more options to choose from, upping your chances. Outside of that, building Skill, Charm, Speed, and even Frost work well on Xu Shu. He has solid health and Defense off the rip, and he also deals boatloads of damage on top of that. He's unmatched!
