Villains. We love to hate them, love to beat them and sometimes love to see them become less evil. Although some 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:villains are just pure evil, sometimes there are villains who are so close to seeing the error of their ways and that their path is just going to end with their downfall. But unfortunately for them, these characters don't realise that things don't have to end this way until it's too late.
However, this doesn't mean they don't deserve their fate or that redemption would have worked for them. Yet it's hard to resist asking the question, could these villains have been redeemed? We think so. These villains were so close to redemption, but failed to grasp it in time before they met their not-so-inevitable fate.
8 ♔ Heisenberg - Resident Evil: Village 🐭
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Resident Evil: Village sees Ethan Winters back in another horrifying adventure as he races to locate his daughter, Rose after her kidnapping. He eventually crosses paths with Heisenberg, an associate of the kidnappers, the cult of the Black God. Heisenberg of🤡fers Ethan a deal, wanting to use Rose to kickstart a rebellion against Mother Miranda, leader of the cult.
Ethan refused to use his daughter as a weapon bringing the two at odds.ꦍ But, if Heisenberg had just offered to help Ethan get Rose back, then he would see Ethan wanted to defeat Miranda and the cult anyway, meaning he would still get his freedom.
7 💧 Tinkerer - Sp༺ider-Man: Miles Morales
Although Tinkerer realised the error of their ways in the end, it was almost too little too late, even if it meant saving Miles and sacrificing themselves in the process. Tinkerer turns out to be Miles' childhood friend Phin Mason who became a villain to destroy Roxxon, the company that killed her brother.
However, she tries to overload a reactor to destroy a new base of Roxxon in Ha﷽rlem. Despite Miles warning her that overloading the reactor would wipe out all of Harlem, she refused to listen until it was too late. If she did, she may have realised her and Miles can work together and she could prove to live another day and be an ally to Spider-Man.
6 🎉 🎉 Benny - Fallout: New Vegas
When you first meet Benny in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Fallout: New Vegas, it's when he's tied you up, aimed a gun at you and then shot you, leaving you for dead. But, as you traverse through the Mojave Wasteland, you soon find out that Benny may be one of the least threatening villainous forces out there.
Some fans have suggested it would have been interesting that, if you meet up with Benny, the two of you work together and use Yes Man to take over New Vegas. It's possible — Benny is a businessman first — and though his reaction is realistic, it would have ultimately been in his best interest to side with The Courier.
5 🐻 😼 Baldur - God Of War
Perhaps one of the most tragic villains in video games, Baldur is a Norse God who is also the first deity we meet from the new realm in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:God of War (2018). He's been sent by Odin to try to track down Laufey, believing it will be the cure to his condition, where he can feel nothing beyond the pain of a mistletoe.
Baldur never finds out that he was tricked by Odin and that Kratos was trying his best to stop him from murdering his own mother in anger for his condition. If he did, he may have been able to work with them in the sequel 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:God of War: Ragnarok. Unfortunately, this all comes too la♓te, as Baldur is consumed with rage to the very end and is ultimꦍately murdered by Kratos.
4 The Fireflie𝐆s - The Last Of Us
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Last of Us presents a world that has been irrevocably changed by the Cordyceps infection. Even if a cure were to be made now, so much of humanity has already been wiped away, and it's really a gamble whether people can take over the planet again.
But, when The Fireflies get the chance to try and get a cure, even if it means killing Ellie, they're stopped by Joel. Whether he's right or not is up for debate, but The Fireflies didn't need to be his enemy. Instead, they could have just asked Ellie what she wanted to do or perhaps wait longer and study her more, even if it posed more of a risk. Things would have surely ended a lot better than they did.
3 Darth Malak - Star Wars: Knight🤡s Of The Oldꦚ Republic
When you come across Darth Malak in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Star Wars: Knights of ♛the Old Republic, it's hard not to judge him as another generic evil Sith. But his story is actually more tragic than that. It turns out he was close friends with your character, Darth Revan, before you both ended up being corrupted by The Sith Emperor, Darth Vitiate.
It's odd that, despite this once close relationship, there's no way to possibly reach out to Malak as a friend. Instead, he constantly sees you as nothing more than someone standing in the way of achieving true power. Perhaps if he learned that Revan had garnered power enough without being completely on the dark side, then he would have joined with his friend once again.
2 🎐 ﷽ Miraak - Skyrim
Another case of a villain not realising they are being manipulated, Miraak from the Dragonborn DLC of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is the final villain that The Last Dragonborn faces. He is known as The First Dragonborn and has made a pact with Hermaeus Mora, the Daedric prince of 🍌knowledge and memory in order to attain great knowledge.
But Miraak could have known that Hermeaus Mora was bad news, even keeping him locked away in his realm and not letting him escape. Both he and The Last Dragonborn are incredibly powerful so it is possible the two could have worked together to try to best Hermeaus Mora at his own game instead of being the deity's pawns and escape his realm together.
1 🎶King Logan - Fable 3
King Logan isn't a tragic villain. He isn't a manipulated villain. He's a tyrant who is a villain for a good reason, just with terrible methods. In Fable 3, you learn that an evil entity simply known as The Darkness is approaching the kingdom and after deposing of King Logan, you have to manage the kingdom in order to make sure it's defended against this oncoming threat.
You realise that King Logan had been told about this darkness and that is why he became a tyrant — to try to fund the nation's defenses, so his people would be safe, if unhappy. Perhaps with a little more guidance, Logan could have learned there are other ways to fund the country's defense. It would just take a lot more work on their part.
