Split is one of the original maps in Valorant that was released with the game, but it can still be quite difficult to get a good grasp of it, especially if you're on the attacker side. This is due to the sheer amount of choke points you have to go through before entering a site.

Thankfully, if you're playing an Agent like Clove, you can make the process of clearing these choke points a lot easier by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:placing your smokes properly and decaying the enemies hiding in corners. However, the defenders can do the same and make the choke points even more dangerous for 🧜y🥂ou.

7 Blocking En🦋try to A Site

While you're defending A Site on Split, the main path that the attackers can take to enter is through either A Main or Ramps given that your team has good control over the middle part of the map. You can easily use both your smokes to block these entries, giving your team enough time to send some reinforcements.

It's highly recommended to place these smokes, especially the one on top rafters, when you're sure that the enemies are planning to push. Clove smokes only last for 14 seconds, and if you place them too early, enemies might just wait it out and then continue the invasion.

6 ꦇ Takওing Control Of A Site

If you play aggressively on the A Site as a defender, it's quite easy to make sure if there are enemies by asking your 168澳洲幸运5开奖网𓆏:teammate to use any information ability. In case you don't locate any enemies here, you can use these smokes to push forward in the site and hold angles that make it much harder for enemies to rotate back.

If you only want to push for the orb, you can simply smoke off the entrance to A Main and take the orb while a teammate holds the smoke for any push. On the other hand, you can also move this smoke further and get to the corner near A Main to hold an unexpected angl✅e for the attackers.

5 🅺 Playing For A Site Plant ♔

As an attacker, if you're trying to enter A site on Split, you essentially have three dangerous angles apart from the defenders camping on-site itself. These angles are A Rafters, Ramps, and Screens. Ideally, the preferred idea is to smoke off Rafters and Screens while your team holds back any peeks from Ramp or even possibly take control of the Tower/Heaven area.

You can then use blinds and other utilities to clear the corners on site and get a plant. If your team does this quickly e﷽nough, you can even plant for Tower and play further away from the⛄ site while trying to defend the spike.

4 Taking Mid Ma💛p Contrꦇol

If you're playing Clove on Split, holding mid and preventing the attackers from getting easy access to rotation is likely the best play for you. This can mainly be done by smoking the stairs, which also leaves a slight area on the top left side for you to peek through if you want to take the risk.

However, if you want to try an aggressive approach, you can smoke off the entry through B Link and Sewers whil♏e one of your teammates goes up to the other side and holds an unexpected angle. While this does alert you of enemy rotations throug𒀰h mid or spawn, keep in mind that they will expect this positioning after seeing the smoke.

3 𝐆 Invading Mid ꦇ

If you're having a hard time getting past the choke points on both sides as attackers, your last option is to try and gain mid-control and pick off a couple of unsuspecting enemies. This can be done by placing a smoke on either Mid Vent or Mail entry depending on where you want to go. Smoking the side you don't want to go to will prevent any timed peeks.

Clove smokes are quite silent, and if enemies aren't holding the mid part of the map, you might even get away with picking one of them off unsuspectingly.

2 Blocking Entr🔯y To B Site

As a defender of B site on Split, your job is quite simple. If your team has good control of mid, you can just keep smoking B Garage as much as possible. This can be done by placing three🍸 smokes in a row, which adds up to 42 seconds, and then smoking again whenever you have one ready.

However, this type of smoke will let the enemies get access to the orb. If you🙈 want to be a ༒little aggressive, you can smoke the entry into the Garage, which will not only let you pick the orb but also place a teammate in an unexpected angle.

1 Playing For B Site Plant ▨ 💞

Hitting the B site as attackers on Split is quite difficult due to the amount of angles you have to clear. Howeverꦗ, Clove can make this much easier by essentially blocking off the entire right side of the site with two smokes placed as 🧸shown in the first picture above. This lets you clear the left side and get a plant.

However, if you've baited the enemies towards A and are rotating back to B, you can instead smoke off B Alley and Rafters to take better control of the site and make the post-plant quite impossible for the defenders.
