One of the ways it does this is in its item acquisition methods. Sure, you acquire many items from enemies or chests, but many items are exclusive to the game's transmutation system, which allows you to change items from one thing to another in exchange for a few Materialize Points, which are the game's currency.
Transmutation Levels
You have access to Transmutation from the very beginning of the game - it's an option in the Use Item menu. Using it allows you to change many of the items you have, often into something more useful or similar in power. Many of these transmutations are one-way, while some items, such as skill and spell books, can be flipped between two different forms using the mechanic.
There are, in fact, three different levels of transmutation, allowing you to transmute items into better items, or completely different items. As a rule of thumb, the higher the level of transmutation, the better the result. To access the higher levels of transmutation, you'll have to equip Valkyrie with specific items.

Note that the Creation Gem is a totally separate item from the Gem of Creation!
You will find the Creation Gem inside the Tower of Lezard Valeth, which is only available on Normal and Hard mode. Once you have activated the magic circles, take the one further to the east than the one in the room wit𒆙h the save point. Follow the path after transporting to find three chests - one of these contains the Creation Gem.
The only way to get a Creation Jewel is by transmutating an Orihalcon with the Creation Gem equipped. There are three ways to obtain an Orihalcon:
- Transmutate a Manual of Resurrection with the Creation Gem equipped. The Manual of Resurrection is an artifact reward for beating the boss of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Dark Tower of Xervah, which is only available on Hard Mode.
- Transmutate a Fairy Bottle with the Creation Gem equipped. The Fairy Bottle is an artifact reward for beating the boss of Black Dream Tower, which is only available on Easy and Normal mode.
- Purchase one via the Divine Item menu from Chapter 6 onward. It costs 100,000 Materialize Points, so it's prohibitively expensive.
Our recommendation is to use either the Manual of Ressurection or the Fairy Bottle (depending on the difficulty) to obtain your Creation Jewel, and then purchase an Orihalcon once you have enough Materialize Points - with the Creation Jewel, it can be turned into Gram, an extremely powerful Greatsword.
Transmutating Weapons Into Gems And Crystals
Unlike most other items in the game, weapons do not get multiple different transmutation options based on whether Valkyre has either of the Creation items equipped. Instead, a selection of weapons from each category of weapon may be turned into attacking items. These are either Gems or Crystals, with Gems casting single-target spells in battle and Crystals targeting all enemies. The only exception are some Staves, which are instead turned into Tomes of Alchemy, a powerful weapon that turns enemies into a buncꦰh of Magic Crystals, increasing your experience gain significantly.

Transmutating Items

If an item is not listed here or in the weapon table above, it cannot be transmutated. If a cell in the table has just a single dash in it, this means you won't be able to transmutate it at that level.
