The dungeons of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth don't often have much story significance. The Lost City of Dipan is a notable exception, not only does it provide some interesting insight into the game's backstory and another Valkyrie of the Valkyrie trio, it is directly linked to the game's sequel, Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.
It's quite an involved dungeon, with more than one boss fight and a lot of smaller puzzles to solve. Here's the rundown.
Lost City Of Dipan Overview
It's very important to note that this guide is assuming that you take this dungeon on as soon as you gain access to it - that is, in Chapter 6.
If you wait until Chapter 7, there will be no fight against Barbarossa, and you won't be able to travel to the past or take on the boss fight.
Enemy |
HP |
Weakness |
Experience |
Notes |
Evil Eye |
24,900 |
None |
18,690 |
Has quite high defensive stats and strong combo attacks. Not really as dangerous as other 'eye' enemies you'll find in the game, though. |
Harpy |
22,000 |
Fire |
3,920 |
These enemies are quite easily taken down - just start a combo with a magic attack, familiar attack, or archer attack and they'll fall to the ground - from there, your melee attackers can ruin their day. |
Life Stealer |
25,700 |
Lightning |
1,876 |
Can use Blood Steal to heal themselves and has a very nasty three-hit combo with a high chance of inflicting Faint. Be wary, especially since they're among the bulkier enemies. |
Victory |
10,000 |
Lightning |
1,120 |
Very we🌠ak for this point in the game. Chao꧅s Blade can be threatening, but a single Lightning Bolt cast from the menu has a good chance of obliterating every Victory onscreen. |
Wise Sorcerer |
5,600 |
Poison |
1,260 |
Has some very powerful spells that you want to avoid,🧜 but i♑s very frail. Take it out as a point of priority. |
Life Stealers are the big threats here - consider equipping the Jewelled Sword 'Grimrist' just to deal instant deaths to them.
How To Beat Barbarossa
As soon as you enter this dungeon, you are treated to a boss fight, one of tw♛o in this dungeon!

Barbarossa |
62,700 |
None |
14,000 |
Barbarossa is an interesting foe - he has strong physical attacks, can cast a bunch of offensive and support spells, and has a lot of health. Unfortunately for him, his tacti🐭cs ar🌄e so spread out that he never gets a chance to truly flex on you.
If you let him live long enough, he'll use his more powerful attacks, such as Hellfire and Malice Grudge, which deal unblockable damage. The latter will deal damage to the entire party and can curse you.
Use your standard strategy to tꦛake Barbarossa down - open combos with powerful magic attacks and wail away at him with PWS attacks if you hit 100 on your combo meter.
Sap Guard can be used to counter his Guard Reinforce if that's giving you trouble!
If you struggle with Barbarossa, it may be a sign that you have to retreat and spend the rest of the chapter leveling up, as you actually have to fight Barbarossa twice in a row. Remembeꦍr, though, if you progress to Chapter 7, Barbarossa will disappear.
Once you beat the undead king a second time, he'll disappear. Start heading to the left and Barbarossa will reappear - you can refight him if you wish, but there's no point. Instead, it's time to explore the Lost City of Dipan.
Traveling Into The Past
Move to the left until you can exit to the front - do so. Move to the right until you reach a screen with monsters - deal with them however you wish, and then continue on to the right until you reach some stairs to the front. Ignore the path further to the right (it only contains an encounter with an Evil Eye) and take the stairs down.
Continue down the stairs and press on to the left until you reach a cutscene in which Valkyrie identities a Time Mechanism. After the cutscene, you'll be in the past.
Exploring The Past
The first thing to do is leave the castle - head to the right, up the stairs, and then all the way as left as you can go until you reach the square, whereupon Valkyrie will spot some humans.
After the cutscene, explore the city, talking to everyone to find out what happened. It s𝄹eems like Hrist, another Valkyrie,🔴 has attacked the city with Einherjar of her own, slaying the king. The queen, on the other hand, is nowhere to be found.
Make sure you talk to this lady in the first Private Residence - she's upstairs. Without talking to her, you cannot find the secret room in the next section.
With that done, go back into the castle and head right until you reach the screen with two staircases. Use the staircase leading up to the next level and follow this path up to the top of the castle - ignore all the rooms to the front, the only things they contain are dead bodies. Always take the topmost exit when you reach a staircase.
When you reach the grand bedroom, interact with the bookcase on the♛ left. Conti🔯nue on to the left to find a secret room and the queen. Watch the cutscene that unfolds.
Looting Dipan Castle
Now, back in the present, head back to the castle and head up the stairs that lead to the queen's secret room. In the room with the save point, you'll find the way to the boss, but we're going to loot the castle first.
- On the first floor, the one with the save point, head to the left and look in the two siderooms here to find an Eye of Heaven and a Dark Savior spellbook. Now, head up the stairs to the right of the save point.
- On the second floor, you'll find a Ranseur in the sideroom.
- The third floor holds a Triple Distress skill book, a Neckless Doll.
- The fourth-floor side room on the right has no chest, but the ones on the left have a Burgundy Flask and an Invoke Feather spell book.
- The linear path from the left of the Invoke Feather chest leads to another chest that contains an Estoc.
- The side room on the fifth floor contains an Ether Scepter and some Nightshade.
- The queen's secret room on the fifth floor contains a Mystic Cross spell book, a Ruin's Fate sword, and a Concentration skill book.
With all the loot collected, head all the way back down to the floor with the save point.
If you jump, you'll notice a stained glass window on the left wall. Use a crystal to jump up to the top of the doorframe and create a large crystal on it. Burst it with another crystal to create a floating platform, and use that to jump up and smash a hole in the window. Enter it, and then head to the left to confront the mages who got you into this mess.
How To Beat Dallas, Gyne, And Walther
You're fighting all three mages at once, and they're pretty tough cookies.

Dallas |

700 |
Gyne |

Walther |
30,000 |

28,000 |
As you can tell just from that stat block alone, Walther is the main threat in this fight, but shouldn't be the main target. Each mage has different moves:
- Gyne and Dallas both have a big roster of offensive spells that all deal roughly the same amount of damage.
- Dallas can use multiple spells per turn, so having the means to avoid them is very important.
- Gyne can cast Invoke Feather, resurrecting one of his fallen allies with a lot of health.
- Walther has the same offensive spells, but can also use Whisp, which hits a ton of times and can wipe out an ally's health reserves.
As he can cast Invoke Feather, dealing with Gyne first is imperative. Throw everything you have at him.
Having a way to prevent magic damage will help supremely here. The Mirror of Pleiades is a fantastic item to equip - you can get one from the Clockwork Mansion, and one by transmutating an Incense Burner of Darlis, which you can get from the Gorhia Cult Headquarters.
Reflect Sorcery is a better way to consistently avoid damage - make sure your sorcerer is putting this up whenever possible. The status lasts three turns, so ways to reduce a sorcerer's charge time, such as by equipping a Fairy Ring, are appreciated greatly.
While he's the obvious first target, Gyne has lots of RDM, meaning you won't do much damage to him unless you have very high-power weapons equipped. Once he's taken care of, your next target will likely be Dallas, as Walther is protected by being in the back row. If your sorcerer gets a spare turn where they don't have to cast Reflect Sorcery, use a spell that hits all enemies to get some damage in on Walter.
Once🥂 you have the kill order doꦅwn, the battle is over quickly.
Lost City Of Dipan Artifacts
There are two rewards for beating the mages.
Rust-Red Circlet |
A circlet that protects against holy damage. It can only be equipped by male sorcerers - Gandar ⛎and Lezard Valeth. Convert it into Materialize Points. |
Dragoon Tyrant |
A decent spear with a three-hit combo. Despite its 𒀰description, it does not slay dragons ꧟as the Dragon Slayer does. |
To leave the dungeon, leave the castle and head all the way to the left, past th🌺e exit to the square.
