You're nearing the end of the game now - Chapter 8 is the final chapter of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. That doesn't mean the game has finished throwing new dungeons at you, and this one has the gall to be a floating dungeon high up in the sky!
As you might expect from that, there's the possibility of being booted out to the world map if you fall in certain screens of this dungeon, so we hope you've been practicing your platforming! At this point, you should have mastered Valkyrie's movement.
Celestial Castle Overview
Celestial Castle isn't too tough a dungeon - there are some nasty areas to deal with, but the puzzles and platforming contained within aren't too frustrating - especially if you make liberal use of the Rewind feature introduced with 💜the remastered🐼 version of the game.

Critical Slash is 🐽a one-hit kill if it connects. Make these monsters your main priority when they show up. |
Forager |
44,000 |

28,000 |
Has very high RDM and RST, so PWS attacks are recommended to deal with them. Can deal a lot of damage and the poison status to the entire party, so be ready wit𝄹h the Heal spell, too. |
Harpy |
30,000 |

17,500 |
Ve♌ry bulky for a Harpy. Can cast some spells, but they do not do m🅰uch damage. |
Haunt |
62,000 |
Holy |
35,000 |
Very bulky and dangerous, but exploiting its holy weakness should help out a lot. Whisp is a very threatening spell, so be sure you're healed up at all times when taking these on. |

With such low health and three weaknesses, these enemies are fodder more than anything else. Don't let them live long, though, as they can wear you down. |
Mage Lord |
12,000 |
Poison |
2,800 |
Very frail, but can cast nasty spells. ꩵPoison Blow will destroy them easily thanks to their low health. |
Mandragora |

Fire |

As dangerous as they are in the F🌠orest of Spirits. If you have Infernas, which instantly kills them, use it. Otherwise, just go all-in on PWS attacks in an attempt to kill it in one turn. |
Monstrous Vermin |

Can use Rain Blow to target your back row, and has a high faint rate. Despite this, you should ha🥂ve more than a f♑ew tools to deal with these monsters by now. If they get the drop on you, they will target your back line with impunity, so be wary of them in the field. |
Looting The Castle
From the beautiful entrance screen, enter the castle to the right. Climb the stairs to take the right exit at the top, and then continue all the way to the right until you reach an exit to the front. Here's where you'll find the traditional Eye of Heaven.
Leave this room, then take to the next exit to the front to the right. Press on to the right and take the door at the end of the hallway, which leads to a chest containing Ghoul Powder.
Backtrack all the way to the screen with the stairs, and take the lower exit instead. Defeat the Forager in here and continue on, being sure to pick up the Flame Jewel in the chest in the next room. From that chest, head all the way to the right, take the frontal exit and then take the first rear exit in the next room.
Getting Across The Bottomless Pit
Descend the stairs to reach the underside of the castle.
If you fall off the platforms on these screens, you will be booted to the world map, and you'll have to spend more Periods getting back into the castle. If you are playing on the remastered version, use the Rewind function to avoid this - it isn't worth the hassle.
The chests on the lower level here contain a Wassail-Rapier, a Vegetable Seed, and the Shield Critical spell book. All three chests contain explosion traps, so be very careful to avoid them, lest you get thrown off the edge and back to the world map. Remember that you can run pa🦂st chests to avoid the explosion!
Use the chains on the right to grapple along to the next chest, which contains a Quartz Gem, and then use them to get up to the next level, and head🌸 to the right.
Use a large crystal to reach the floating platform near the door, and then avoid the explosion trap in this chest to get a Reflect Sorcery spell book. Use the chains to move along to the right, opening the chests (and avoiding explosions) to get the Concentration skill book, a Lucerne Hammer, some Aqua Vitae, and another Ghoul Powder.
If you're struggling to avoid the explosions, try picking up the chests and moving them to one side of a platform. This s🧔hould give you enough room to form a safe spac🌞e after opening it.
The Butterfly Rooms
Once you have all the treasure you want, head back into the castle to the right and up two screens of stairs. On this screen, you have to use your sword to kill all of the butterflies. Once they're all gone, you can move on to the left.
The next screen has more butterflies to kill, but also two orbs that fire freezing lasers at you - you should be familiar with those by now. Every time a laser hits you, some butterflies that you've previously killed will get revived. Kill all the🌺 butterflies a꧂gain, trying your best to avoid getting hit by the lasers.
In the next screen, save your game and open the chest on the left to get the Sword of Silvans, which is a really nice weapon with three hits and a chanc♛e꧅ to paralyze.
Reaching The Boss
Head to the front from the save point, and then take the left, and then an exit to the rear. From here, you'll need to simply keep following the linear path, heading to the right, avoiding or de🐻aling with the mo🌺nsters however you wish.
Eventually, you'll reach a save point. Save your game and then get ready for the boss fight.
How To Beat Genevieve
You might recognize this undead from Jayle's recruitment phase, where she was a very easy fight. Backed up by two Daemonic Barons, Genevieve is a one-woꦦman slaughterhouse of magical proportions.

Despite being the squishy frontliners, the Barons are not unthreatening. Despotic Nail can deal a lot of damage, and they can self-buff with Mirror Image, making them hell for your physical attackers to target. You'll want to get rid of them quickly, so use your PSW attacks if you manage to fill your combo bar - you have plenty of time to take on Genevieve. Genevieve can use Heal when ဣeither 🧸her allies or herself have dropped to low health, so try to finish the Barons off with efficient combos.
Speaking of, Genevieve has an attack called Indiscriminate, which will fire off four spells against random party members. These can deal a huge amount of damage, so you'll want to be topped off, health-wise, at all times.
Make sure you're heading into this fight with full health - the enemy will always go first, and Indiscri✃minate can pull off a major upset from the word ⛦go.
Sorcerers are key in this battle. Not only can they Heal the entire party efficiently, but they can also cast Reflect Sorcery, which is almost necessary to make this fight go well. With Reflect Sorcery, Genevieve's Indiscriminate will be interrupted after the first cast, and it'll help you win the damage race. Remember, Reflect Sorcery lasts only three turns, so you'll want to make sure you generate lots of magic orbs to reset your sorcerer's CT gauge.
The Barons can be silenced - have Valkyrie equipped with a bow and Noise Arrow to eliminate their magic attacks. Alternatively, cast Dampen Magic with your sorcereꦦr.
Genevieve's most powerful attack is likely Poison Blow, which deals upwards of 25,000 damage. If you don't have Reflect Sorcery up, try to have equipment that resists poison damage - such as the Heraldic Garb or the Bracelet of Basilisk. A Mirror of Pleiades can help, too, as it'll send the entire spell back at Genevieve if it triggers its reflection effect.
When she's low on health, Genevieve will start using Cosmic Spear, which will do a huge amount of damage to your entire party, so don't get complacent when you're close to victory.
Celestial Castle Artifacts
There are three artifacts to pick up after defeating Genevieve.
Berserker Bow |
An incredibly high-power bow that deals poison damage, but only has a one-hit comb🎀o. The Elven Bow is superior. |
Armor of Aleph |
Very strong 🍌armor that protects against poison damage. Huh, would have been very nice to have in that last battle. |
Harp of Atrasia |
Its only use is for co🔴nverting to Materi🅺alize Points. |
