Not all late-game V Rising bosses are found in the hardest zones. Some are hanging out in lower-level areas, ෴and are a scary sight for low-level vampires who happen across them. As if the Hallowed Mountains needed another large monster, Terrorclaw the Ogre reigns supreme over the icy region, and should only be approached if you have some of th🔯e best gear the game has to offer.

This gui🌊de will teach you where to find Terrorclaw The Ogre, the best strategy for besting him in combat, and what rewards you will be granted if 🧜you can kill him.

Terrorclaw The Ogre's Location

V Rising Terrorclaw The Ogre Map Location

Terrorclaw The Ogre can be found in the Frozen Cave in the Hallowed Mountains region. Situated in the Southeast corner, the Cave lies at the end of a long winding road, upon which lie large footprints. The Hallowed Mountains Waygate is your closest teleport, and while it is only a short run down to the cave, you will have to be careful of a patrolling boss. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Frostmaw The Mountain Terror is a strong enemy, and is incredibly irritating to try and run past, so do your best to avoid him as his long-range freezes can slow you down significantly. The good news is that aside from Frostmaw, there are no real enemies to speak of in the region, and it should be a relatively safe journey.

Due to Terrorclaw always being found in the same location, using your Blood Altar to track him down is not required.

Battle Strategy

V Rising Terrorclaw The Ogre Boss Fight

Terrorclaw the Ogre is a powerful enemy, and possesses hard-hitting attacks, nasty crowd control, and a speed that belies his size. His first attack is to slam the ground, causing multiple large Ice Shards to fall down and embed themselves in the floor. Terrorclaw will then proceed to pick up an Icicle and use it as a projectile, launching it forwards with high speed. This will stun you for a couple of seconds if you are hit, but although it moves quickly, your Travel Ability should easily allow you to dodge this.

The bread and butter of Terrorclaw's kit is his three-hit combo. He will end the combo by slamming his fists into the ground and unleashing a Wave of Ice, that will freeze you in place, allowing him to follow up with a non-freezing combo. The repetitiveness with which Terrorclaw performs these moves can make it difficult to get some good damage in, as if you play safely you will want to dodge to the sides for most of the fight. Being at range is not always safe, as the Frost Waves will expand in width as they travel, so dodging close to the boss's hitbox gives you a higher degree of safety.

Terrorclaw's Ultimate ability is a massive Arctic Leap, launching himself to your location, and smashing the ground to cause yet more Waves of Ice to flow from the epicenter, freezing you if struck. The range of the AoE will increase with each wave, and will eventually fill the majority of the room, making this extremely difficult to dodge. Your best bet is to try to tank this ability using a shield spell such as Ward of the Damned. Terrorclaw may hit hard, bu❀t relying on dodging all his attacks is playing a dangerous🌼 game, so try to save your shield for this leap and use it at the final Wave.

For your get set-up, try running the combo of Chaos Volley and Ward of the Damned. The Chaos Barrage Ultimate is a good choice, as it allows you to stay mobile, but if you find yourself struggling with the fight, Sanguine Coil or Crimson Beam can give you some nice extra healing. You will want to be close to or wearing full Bloodmoon armor by this stage of the game, and a Dark Silver Reaper is your preferred weapon. High-quality Scholar Blood will grant you some spell leech, which is very important in taking on Terrorclaw.

Terrorclaw The Ogre's Rewards

V Rising Terrorclaw The Ogre Blood Altar

Terrorclaw The Ogre only has one reward for you, the Arctic Leap Vampire Power. A Frost Ultimate that mimics Terrorclaw's in-fight ability, you will leap to a specified location, dealing huge damage in an area around you, and creating a wave of frost, that freezes all enemies for six seconds, falling to three against other players. This Ultimate gives you the new combination of high AoE damage combined with a movement skill. It is useful when dealing with large packs of enemies, and can be considered over alternatives such as Mirror Strike.

While Arctic Leap is a strong new option, it is by no means mandatory, and Terrorclaw The Ogre is certainly one of the most optional bosses in V Rising. He is a combination of a difficult fight and a mediꦑocre reward, and is located out of the way of the majority of resources, meaning you will most likely nev🎉er encounter him by chance.
