V Rising is a vampire survival game that allows you to play with others, as well as by yourself. When multiple players are on the same server, tasks become easie🍒r. For example, a group of vampires can quickly t🐷ake down a boss. If you are playing solo, you might struggle at first, but we are here to help.
In this guide, we are going to go over some helpful tips to help you play V Rising solo. These tips are meant to help you get started in the world, especially if you are feeling a bit lost. First, let's look at the best way to travel around the map while playing alone.
Get A Mount
Traveling in V Rising can take quite a bit of time, especially if you are carrying items that cannot be teleported. To deal with travel, we recommend getting yourself a horse as soon as possible.
Since you are playing alone, you will need to travel everywhere by yourself. You don't have the luxury to craft in your castle another player goes to gather materials.

Stay Organized
It's incredibly easy to become disorganized in any survival game, and V Rising is no exception. Staying organized will help you cut down on the amount of time you spend searching for an item.
To stay organized, try to build a separate storage room in your castle, as well as use larger chests. There are no signs in the game, but you can create 'sections' in the room for different items.
Additionally, you can store items near the production station that makes them. ꦐFor example, a chest near a sawmill can hold wood, planks, and sawdust that you have. This will allow you to quickly find these items since they are always near the sawmill.
Craft High-Level Gear
An essential part to the game is crafting new gear. This𓂃 is important regardless if you are playing with others or not, but as a solo player, you want to have gea🔜r strong enough to let you solo enemies.
As a general rule of thumb, we recommend having a gear level a few levels higher than the enemy. While playing solo, you won't be able to tag team a V Blood Carrier with a friend, which means all their attacks will be directed at you. With strong weapons and armor, you can overpower the boss without dying.
Build A Prison
Next, we recommend building a prison. In a prison, you can hold humans with strong blood, allowing you to maintain your own blood levels. Rather than venturing outside in the world and relying on RNG for an enemy with strong blood to appear, you can keep them in your castle.

Avoid Danger
While traveling around the map, you may find groups of enemies wandering the paths. If these enemies greatly outnumber you, try to avoid them. Playing solo, you won't have someone to come to your aid. Fortunately, most enemies in the game are pretty easy to outrun, especially if you are in wolf form.
Farming, Farming, Farming
You will not have another vampire friend to help gather materials, so you will need to do all the farming and crafting yourself. Because of this, it's important to take some time to farm materials. Rather than farming f🦹or materials when you nꦜeed it, try to keep materials on hand.
The more you progress in the game, the more items you will be able to craft; soon, your castle may become self-sufficient. Until then, don't forget to farm!
Be Prepared To Fight Alone
Lastly, you will need to be prepared to fight alone. As mentioned several times, you are the only one on your team. This is important to remember when fighting V Blood Carriers. If you are playing with someone else and they die, you can continue to fight. The boss will not regain health, and you can fight normally.
If you are worried about losing items upon death, try heading into a fight holding nothing but your armor and equipment.
Upon death, these items will stay with you; this means that you will not need to go back to the site of your death and retrieve any items.
If, on the other hand, you are playing alone, the boss will regain all of their health. Keep this in mind if you are low on health; instead of fighting, it's okay to take a second and kite the boss around while you use a heath potion or a healing spell.
That's all there is to know about playing solo in V Rising! Overall, playing alone can be quite relaxing, especially if you just want to focus on making a grand castle.
