Scales are a resource that you will need in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:V Rising to craft late-game armor. When you first set out to find scales, you may not know where exactly you should be looking, but we are here to help you. In this guide, we are going to take a look at where you can find scales.
This will also include the best ways to farm this material, as well as what you can do with it. Scales are found in higher-level areas, so be sure to bring strong weapons and sturdy armor before you set off.
Where To Find Scales
Scales can be found within the Cursed Forest, located in the up🐠per right hand corner of the map. This is a small area with enemies all ranging above 🎶level 50.
While in this area, you will be ❀able to🐼 find several enemies that drop scales, which you can see listed below.
- Frogs
- Earthworms
- Spiders
- The Duke of Balaton
The Duke of Balaton is a giant frog enemy, who is level 62. This is pretty high-level and he takes a while to respawn, so we don't recommend farming scales by defeating the Duke.
Fishing
If you prefer to not engage in combat, you can also fish for scales. Fishing is not a guaranteed method of obtaining scales, but you will have a c🌱hance to get this mater🎶ial.
To fish for scales, we recommend heading to the Brighthaven Docks. This location is on the western edge of the Silverlight Hills, facing out into the water.
Here, you can fish for rare materials, including scales. Before you start fishing here, you may have to clear out any guards or citizens wh💦o are in the area.
Tips For Farming Scales
There are two main places that you should go if you want to 𒆙efficiently farm for scales.
The first location is the Spider Cave. This is a large area, centrally located in the Cursed Forest, that is home to Ungora the Spider Queen, a level 60 boss.
As you run through the Spider Cave, you will come across plenty of spiders that drop up to 10 scales at a time. Keep in mind, since Ungora is level 60, the accompanying enemies in this area will also be high leveled. If you choose to engage in combat with Ungora, be prepared for the swa⛄rms of spiders that will come to her aid.
In addition to farming at the Spider Cave, we recommend going to the Swamp of Greed. This is the northmost area in the Cursed Forest, filled with earthworms and frogs that drop huge amounts of scales for you to collect.
One earthworm can drop up to 100 scales, allowing you to quickly gathe🐠r a few stacks of this material.
What To Do With Scales
Now, let's take a look at what you can do with your scales.
You will need scales to make the Dawnthorn Armor Set. This is a set of armor that you will learn after defeating Octavian the Militia Captain for the first time. Octavian is a level 58 boss that can be found within the Bastion of Dunley in the Dunley Farmlands.
After defeat, you can craft the Dawnthorn Armor at the Tailoring Bench. Each piece of this armor set requires 160 scales to craft, but this will decrease if you place your Tailoring Bench in a closed room with a Tailoring Floor.
Overall, you will need a lot of scales, so we suggest spending a few nights go🐈ing between the Swamp of Greed and Spider Cave.
