V Rising wouldn't be a proper vampire game if there wasn't some way of feasting on the blood of your enemies. Blood is a central mechanic in V Rising꧋, acting as a more fluid class system that determines most of your character's passives.

This guide will go over how blood types and qualities work in V Rising, whaꦬt each blood type grants, and we'll give a few tips on making this system easier to manage.

Updated May 25, 2024 by Jacqueline Zalace: With the 1.0 launch of V Rising, we have a new blood type! As such, we've updated this guide to have accurate information on each blood type available, as well as what types of enemies usually have each one.

What Are Blood Types?

v rising blood pool panel-1

Every living creature in V Rising has a blood type that grants passive bonuses. You can view a creature's blood🥀 type and rarity beside their health bar at the top of your screen. By lowering the creature's HP to 30 percent or les✨s, you can feed on them to transfer their blood type into your bloodstream.

Doing so changes your blood type and quality to the creature you just fed on. Your blood gauge will also be fully restored, regardless of the blood's quality. You may only have one blood type active at a time.

Should your blood gauge become empty, your HP will start to decay until you're on the brink of death. Feast on crಞeatures to keep you༺r blood gauge filled.

Later in your playthrough, you'll be able to use 🔯certain abilities to detect the blood types and quality of nearby creatures, and you'll be able to imprison humans to drain their blood for ﷺlater.

Blood Quality Explained

V Rising Vampire Drinking V Blood

Blood types also come with a quality that's randomized, ranging from 1 to 100 percent quality. The higher the quality, the more passive benefits the bl♑ood will grant. Every blood type in V Rising comes with five tiers of passives, each passive being locked behind a certain percentage of quality.

Passives with varying bonuses increase their effect magnitud🅠e based on your blood quality. Additional passive tiers ꦿunlock at the following blood quality thresholds:

Tier I

1% quality

Tier II

30% quality

Tier III

60% quality

Tier IV

90% quality

Tier V

100% quality

Consuming the same blood type does not add the quality bonuses together; your bonus is overwritten instead. For example, if you have 50 percent quality and consume the same blood type at 15 percent 🌸quality, your blood will become 15 percent q🐼uality.

Tips To Get Strong Blood

v rising player fighting a v blood carrier in the farmlands

With all the blood type options, how do you get powerful blood? Let's look at some tips for getting the strongest blood.

Blood From Prisoners

You can enthrall humans with high-quality blood into your castle and imprison them, allowing you to siphon their blood whenever you desire.

When you 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:take blood from a prisoner, they will lose some HP. Thankfully, you can just feed them fish to replenish it. Keeping prisoners is a great way to have a consistent source of blood that can be stored in little bottles and used on the go.

You 🌱can use Irradiant Gruel to increase the blood quality of a prisone꧅r, but this ahs a change to turn them into a mutant.

Using Blood Hunger

v rising tristan the vampire hunter with blood hunger highlighted

After defeating 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Tristan the Vampire, you will unlock Blood Hunger. This is a vampire power that allows you to check the blood type of quality of enemies. You can already do this by hovering over nearby enemies, but with Blood Hunger, you can keep your distance and see multiple blood types at the same time.

Using A Dusk Caller

If you find a person with strong blood and want them to be your prisoner, you will need to lead them all the way home. This,🍸 of course, can be a struggle if you are far from home.

With a Dusk Caller stone, you can summon a swarm of bats to transport the charmed human and place them in an unoccupied cell. This is incredibly helpful and cuts out the treacherous journey through the worl♑d.
