Beatrice the Tailor is one of the most unique bosses in this survival game, and provides an unconventional challenge for when you're transitioning from Tier One to Tier Two. This guide will teach you where to find Beatrice the Tailor, the best battle strategy for beating her, and what rewards you can expect to receive afterwards.

Beatrice The Tailor's Location

V Rising Beatrice The Tailor Map Location

Beatrice the Tailor can be found wandering around Dawnbreak Village in the Dunley Farmlands. She's the first boss that requires you to leave Farbane Woods in order to find her.

Beatrice will roam around the village, even going into and out of houses. The transition from Farbane to Dunley comes with a hefty increase in enemy level. Where before you would have to clear out Level 20 Bandits, the Dunley Farmlands is crawling with Level 30 to 40 Militias, which are significantly tougher.

These Militias will hit hard and can cont𝓰ain some especially dangerous enemies.

  • Militia Guards are powerful fighters and can stun you with their fast frontal charge.
  • The Militia Longbows will fire nasty long-range Fire Arrows that can snipe you out of Wolf Form with ease.

There are packs of these enemies roaming the roads surrounding Dawnbreak Village, as well as within the settlement itself. Taking them out one by one is highly recommended, as the fight against Beatrice will require lots of room to maneuver.

Defeating enemies in the Dunley Farmlands will yield materials such as Cloth and Wool Thread. These are crucial for upgrading your armour, so feel freeꦑ to farm in order to build up a good supply of these new resources.

Battle Strategy

V Rising Beatrice The Tailor Boss Fight

Beatrice the Tailor is a unique boss in that she won't attack you. Instead, she will continually run away in random directions, crying out for help a⛄nd attracting enemy Militia to ai🦄d her.

This can pose serious problems should you be unsuccessful in clearing them out beforehand. Beatrice has a high amount of health, and it's going to take a little while to kill her with starting Tier Two equipment. She runs quite fast and can enter and exit buildings, which can mess up any ranged attacks you try to hit her with.

Beatrice has an annoying habit of resetting should she run too far away from her initial point of combat. To prevent this, try to get in front of her and herd her back towards where you started. This is also useful for avoiding other enemies.

Dawnbreak Village is quite✤ a large area, and Beatrice will have plenty of room to run around in.

Scouting out the location beforehand is a good idea, so you can become more﷽ familiar with where she might run off to.

For gear, you should hopefully have defeated Quincey the Bandit King, and have crafted an Iron Weapon for yourself. The Sword is very useful for chasing after Beatrice thanks to its Shockwave🍸 ability, which can be used to close the gap to the fleeing boss.

Merciless Nightstalker Armour is the best you'll be able to use, but won't prevent the Militia from dealing hefty damage, so try and play cautiously.

Lastly, spells such as Shadowbolt and Chaos Volley will be useful for sniping Beatrice at range, although Aftershock will be bette⭕r for helping cleave down packs of guards.

Beatrice The Tailor's Rewards

V Rising Beatrice The Tailor Blood Altar

Beatrice the Tailor is an e♔xtremely important boss to defeat, as she grants you excell𓄧ent rewards.

  • First up is the Human Form Vampire Power, which will allow you to turn into a Human and interact with them. Sunlight will still hurt you, but enemy Humans will not react to your presence. This is useful for traveling through large groups of enemies without fighting, or to interact with Merchants and exchange your Silver.

The Loom costs 20 Copper Ingots, 20 Planks, and four Wool Thread to craft. The Loom can be used to create both Cloth and Cotton Yarn, which will be vital for your gear progression, and Beatrice will give you both of these recipes alongside the structure.
  • You will also be given the Hunter's Cloak recipe which can be crafted at the Tailoring Bench, and can be a nice gear addition if you haven't lucked into a random Cloak drop by now.
  • To spice up your castle, you will also gain the crafting option of an Assortment of Curtains, which come in various colors.
