There were strict rules in place for anyone who thought they could kill time by frequently grabbing snacks or dist♎racting themselves with their phones. Those running the event recommended attendees leave their phones in their cars as looking at them would result in disqualification. Going to the bathroom outside of the designated breaks (between showings) would also result in getting DQ'd, and most important of all, if you fall asleep, you're out.

On the bright side, those brav𒐪e enough to face six back-to-back showings could have as many 𝐆concessions as they liked. However, like the bathroom breaks, they could only grab food and drink between showings.

Perhaps predictably, despite the seemingly gargantuan task, there were still 37 people left in the running when the lights came up at the end of🐷 the sixth and final showing, Sauveur among them. Unfortunately, AMC didn't have $185,000 to spare so that everyone could have the $5,000 prize. Instead, a trivia contest broke out, extending everyone's stay. The questions were based on the movie everyone had just seen six times in a row, and Sauveur wound up being knocked out before the final round, meaning they left the theater after all that time empty-handed.
