We'll tell you what Moods you can expect, their benefits or penalties, and how to keep your Trainee in high spirits.
All Moods And What They Mean
An Umamusume's Mood is one of several important mechanics you need to keep track of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:while Training them in between races in Career Mode.
Mood affects how good the result of their Training will be, and whether they'll have any bonuses or deductions from their stats while racing, so having a good mood is a massive boon.
A positive mood increases the Stats gained during Training, provides bonuses to Friendship gained with Umamusume from Support Cards, and increases Stats during a race, while a negative mood does the opposite: their Stat gain will be lowered, and their stats will get a small penalty during the race.

Not only does Mood affect your Trainee during her races, but the same applies to other Umamusume you face up against during races, so you can take advantage of others having a low Mood.
Rival Umamusume and those with notable names are more likely to be in a good Mood in G2 and above races, even if you're using Alarm Clocks to have another chance, while non-notable Umamu💙sume are less likely to be in a good mood.
Even if an Umamusume has slightly lower stats than her opponents, her good Mood can mean she'll still get first place or at least rank high enough to succeed in her Goals, especially in the early races.
How To Improve An Umamusume's Mood
While an Umamusume's Mood can go up or down when different random events occur during Training, similar to how they can have 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:good or bad Conditions, there's a way to guarantee an improvement to their Mood.
During Training, you'll always have the option to go on Recreation, and this is how to improve an Umamusume's Mood. Each time you go, it will improve their Mood by one stage, but the one downside to this is that it takes up a whole Turn, so you won't get any Training done, and minimal Energy is recovered.
Recreation can also lead to different mini-game events occurring, such as the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Crane Game, which rewards you with collectible items, an additional Mood increase, and hints for new skills.
Unless you need the extra Stats, try to go on a Recreation right before the day of a race to improve an Umamusume's Mood and boost her chances against the upcoming racers.
