With this guide, we’ll be going through the course modules, how to look after your wizards, and what’s required to get high-marking graduates.

What Is Wizardry?

Two Point Campus Wizards Duelling on Duelling Ring

Wizardry is for those interested in the supernatural. From casting spells to crafting potions, this is the course to bring magic to life, so only Wizard students will be able to enroll in this course. The stu💧dents are e💯asily spotted too, with their tall hats and cloaks bobbing around as they dash, dawdle, and dance around campus.

As soon as you unlock the Spiffinmore campus location, you’ll also unlock the Wizardy course. But you should know: this is a hard course for students, and your Private Tuition and Pastoral Support rooms will get very busy.

A Lecture Theatre, Potions Room, Spells Room and Library are mandatory, which don’t come cheap both in cost and space requirements — plus, you’ve still got hiring costs for the teachers. But it’s worth noting that First Year students don’t require a Spell Room.

Wizardry Details

The basic tuition fees for Wizardry are $9,000 and the course itself lasts three years. Plus, as mentioned above, the course is considered hard and is for Wizard students only. In the course, students will study:

First Year

  • The Supernatural is Perfectly Natural (Lecture Theatre)
  • Burning Fires & Bubbling Cauldrons (Potions Room)
  • Wizarding Ingredients: Not Your Average Soup (Potions Room)

Second Year

  • How to Cast a Spell: What are you playing at? (Spells Room)
  • Divination: The Power of Speculation (Lecture Theatre)
  • An Introduction to Intermediate Saucery (Potions Room)

Third Year

  • The Seven Forgivable Curses (Spells Room)
  • The Remarkable Rise of All-Things Gooey (Potions Room)
  • A Life After Magic: Expecto-da-hohum (Spells Room)

Students who aren’t in class will study in the Library and Potions Room — keep them well-equipped so they don’t fail their exams. Outside of academics, students will need dormitories for sleep, lounges for relaxing, food stands for grabbing a bite to eat, and toilets for… extra-curricular waste disposal.

Build a diverse mix of rooms close to one another. This way, students and staff alike can take quick rest bre♓aks ins💜tead of trekking across campus, only to dash back and be late for their next class.

If you want to improve student grades and increase the number of students on campus, you can upgrade the course level in the course overview menu, which appears at the start of ওeach academic year.

If you do upgrade the course, a checklist will let you know what the campus needs to accommodate the students. Otherwise, they can&rs🦩quo;t properly study for the year, making them fail their exams and drop out, or even leave in frustration halfway through the yꦆear.

Remember, you’ll al﷽ways get new first-year students at the start of each academic year — on top of any returning students. So wa🐓tch out for the first wave of undergraduates, as they’ll double your campus attendance.

Increasing tuition fees will mean fewer students to teach, which will always be easier to 💎manage and increase their chances of better grades, but it will mean less cash coming in.

More students will give you more tuition fees, but you’ll need a campus large enough to accept the extra intake. Stick to the default admissions rate until you’ve had a class graduate for the whole three years, then adjust the fees to what you feel most comfortable with.

It’s better to start small and guarantee a profit, than overloading the school and hoping to limit the number of dropouts. Get acquainted with the current student traffic, then slowlཧy add more cou꧋rse options when you feel ready.

Much like the lectern in the Lecture Theatre, both the Magic Cauldron in the Potions Room and the Duelling Ring in the Spells Room can be upgraded. To do this, you’ll need a Janitor with the Mechanics training, this can be given to them through the Training Room, or you might get lucky and find someone with the training in the Hire Staff tab.

Next,𝔍 you’ll need a Research Room and a teacher with Research training. Then it’s just a case of unlocking and paying for the upgrades.

After the research is completed, a Magic Cauldron II/Duelling Ring II will set you back $10,000 and increase your learning 🍃power in that classroom by 25 percent. A Magic Cauldron III/Duelling Ring III will cost $30,000 but provide a whopping 50 percent learning power.

Students will also get assignments to complete, and having the correct gear needed to complete them will boost grades significantly. If you can afford them, buy the tools. You’ll be notified via your inbox if someone requests an item; so save your Kudosh to unlock anything they need.

Tips For Wizardry

Two Point Campus Wizardry Bookcase in Library
  • Wizard students have unique bonus traits because when happy, they’ll use their powers for good, and when unhappy, they’ll use them for evil. Keep an eye on these students especially. If enough of them are in a bad mood, they can cause your campus to spiral into chaos fast.
  • Dark Art and General Knowledge are excellent courses to run alongside Wizardry, since they can share the Potions Room and Lecture Theatre, making building costs cheaper.
  • A hard difficulty course likely means many students will require private tuition alongside outside normal classes. Keep an eye on who’s failing their course via the Personnel Management Tab, and make sure you’ve enough resources to tutor them to avoid end-of-year dropouts.
  • At an area of 6x6, the Potions Room and Spells Room are some of the largest indoor rooms on campus. Given their square shape, they’re also fairly tricky to place neatly in many of the default Campus Buildings. Plan your layout and don’t be afraid to reshape the buildings to suit your needs.
