I played through 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Titanfall 2 over a weekend last month, and one of the things I love about Titanfall 2 is that I can play through it over a weekend. It throws you two or three of the most iconic FPS levels ever designed, a few others that aren't all-timers but are still extremely good, then gets out of your way before you have the opportunity to get bored.

The estimate puts Titanfall 2's length at around six hours, and that's probably about how long it took me to get from the Gauntlet to the credits. That wasn't always the case, though. Titanfall 2 was the first FPS I played when I was starting to get back into games in 2016, and back then, I spent at least twice as long.

It didn't help that it was the first game I ever played to completion on an Xbox, and kept having to lo🅠ok down at the controller whenever a button prompt appeared on screen.

Titanfall 2 As An FPS Workout

During that initial playthrough, I loved the game, but I was struggling with everything it asked me to do. I wasn't used to first-person shooter controls, I didn't know what kinds of guns I was best at using, and I definitely wasn't accustomed to the speed at which Titanfall 2 is designed to be played. The cool moves I can do now — wall-running into a double jump no scope kill shot — would make current me seem like a god to past me.

Most of the boss battles stopped me in my tracks dozens of times, too. I remember the battle against Viper, in particular, taking me forever. That fight, which takes place on top of a military airship in flight, is probably the most difficult in the game. But when I played it back in 2016, it was “try it dozens of times and drop the difficulty all the way down” hard. This time it was “almost beat it on the first try, lose quickly on the second, then nail it on the third” hard. I don’t feel like I’ve gotten that much better at shooters,🌠 but when I compare these two data🅺sets, it’s pretty undeniable.

This is one good reason to return to Titanfall 2 every so often. This was my third time through the campaign, and each time, it gets dramatically easier as my skills improve and I better lear♓n what kinds of weapons I’m best with. I know that I like using shotguns, so in this playthroug🦩h, I always either had a shotgun in my hand or was looking for a shotgun to put into my hands.

Building My Skills

There are still bits where I get tripped up. ‘Into the Abyss’ is one of the game’s most iconic levels, taking place in a factory where prefabricated houses are being assembled for use in a training facility, but as much as I love the idea of it, I often end up lost in the mix, crushed by a floor rising into the ceiling. This isn't something that general shooter skills improve. I think I just need to play that specific level more often.

And maybe I should. It had been several years since I last picked up Titanfall 2. Maybe, like going to the doctor for a general check-up, I should jump back in once a year and make sure my skills aren't atrophying.
