Should you choose to fight, it will still take more than one attack to down an enemy, and, considering Deltarune's bullet hell-esque battle phases, you will get hit on numerous occasions. Even in the game's Genocide Route, Kris isn't supposed to attack, meaning that having a stronger weapon is essentially pointless.

TP is a game mechanic that was introduced in the first chapter of Deltarune back in 2018. TP (Tension Points) is essentially Deltarune's version of Mana, and the main currency for activating certain skills like Ralsei's healing and Noelle's Iceshock. These skills will be incredibly important no matter which path is chosen and gaining TP in battle is essential.
There are three main ways to gain TP outside of using items in Chapter 2. The first two ways are to simply have a character FIGHT or DEFEND. The new chapter of Deltarune introduces enemy recruitment, which, as the name suggests, 𓆉allows you to recruit enemies by sparing them. Once an enemy is recruited, they are sent to Castle Town where you can interact with them any time you choose, along with a hidden perk becoming available.
Towards the end of the game, right before the final boss, the true purpose of the recruitment mechanic is revealed. In the final battle, you use a mech called the Thrash Machine to fight the final boss. This machine's HP is entirely based on how many enemies you have recruited, so if you neglect to do so, you're put at a disadvantage in a rather difficult fight.
7 Be💞 Ca༺reful Not To Lose An Enemy
While sparing and recruiting enemies is a core mechanic within the game, it isn't necessarily a requirement to complete Deltarune Chapter 2. Much like in the first chapter and in Undertale, there exists an alternative route. A far more aggressive approach to the numerous encounters.
Instead of sparing every enemy, you can choose to attack and harm them instead. While this doesn't kill them (at least at first), you will Lose that enemy. When an enemy is Lost, it becomes impossible to recruit that type of opponent, even if you have already recruited the same enemy prior to that encounter. This means missing 🌼out on unique dialogue, the health bonus for the final boss, as well as some of the challenges at the Party ꦆDojo.
6 ♎ Recruiting Starwalker andꦡ Hacker
There are two characters that can be recruited but are not encountered in battle like the others. Starwalker is actually a key item like Lancer and Rouxls Kaard. However, they are only obtained should you speak to them in Deltarune Chapter 1, back at the Forest.
Another such character is Hacker, who is a little more difficult to pin down. When first encountered, they give you an optional request to locate a few hidden items. Collecting them and returning to Hacker will complete this mission and they will be recruited, but if you ignore them, they remain where they are and other characters take notice.
5 ꦯ Even Experien🍒ced Players Should Check Out The Party Dojo
This new area within Castle Town offers a tutorial for new players, as well as a series of challenges for others. It may seem like a waste of time, but it can be ben▨eficial to stop and take the time to participate in what the Dojo has to offer.
For one thing, even for avid fans of the franchise, it has been three years since a new game has been released. Many players are rusty and playing the tutorial can only help with that. What's more, there are quite a few useful items that can be obtained throuhg the dojo's challenges.
4 ꦚ You Should Explore Everywhere
Despite the rather straightforward storyline, there are still a multitude of secrets to find within Deltarune. As with Undertale, health items, pi෴eces of equipment, and even some surprising secrets can all be found, should you ﷽take the time to look. Even the route to the game's secret boss requires you to tread off the beaten path.
That being said, because of that linear plotline, certain paths close up if not immediately explored. Should you focus on progressing the game instead of exploring every avenue, certain items and easter eggs will be lost.
3 The Snowgrave Route Is Undertale's Genocide Route, With A Twist
Undertale's various endings are key to its appeal. You can choose pacifism and spare an opponent rather than causing them harm, allowing you to meet a multitude of unique characters and personalities. On the opposite side, there is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Genocide Route, where you kill everyone you encounter without🍌 except♓ion. In the first Deltarune installment, the latter route was impossible, but it was reintroduced with Chapter 2.
Unlike Undertale, this route doesn't occur simply by attacking a monster. Instead, you must force Kris to manipulate his neighbor, Noelle, to commit these acts. Noelle has a unique ability to freeze her opponents solid, an effect that persists even after battle ends. Should you wish to subject the protagonist's classmate and friend to manipulation and trauma, it is very important to stock up on items. Much like in Undertale, after you commit to this route, the world become quiet.
The music stops here and there, creating an ominous and sinister atmosphere. On top of that, enemies will actually run from you. If that wasn't bad enough, Sweet Cap'n Cakes, one of the better shops in the game, becomes closed. If you're commited to this route, it's vital to stock up on healing items beforehand.
1 🌊 Your Choices Seem To Matter This Time
In the first chapter, choices were said to not matter at all. The character you create in t✃he introduction is even destroyed. You would assume that this would carry♏ over in the second chapter, but it becomes clear that this is not the case.
After completing the Snowgrave Route, you can find Noelle at the hospital with her dad. Through her dialogue, it is clear that Noelle has been affected to some extent by her time in the Dark World, but it's not until her monologue outside the room that you're told how far this change goes. It is unclear if this will be significant within the following chapters, but if Noelle's fearful reaction to Kris is any indication, it's safe to say that the bond between the two of them has been damaged.
