The easiest way to complete this objective is to look on the road near the abandoned house, just northwest of the Western Campsite. There's a wrought-iron torch just outside the wall separating the yard from the road; interact with it to complete t💛he first objective for Plains-Running Hunter.

How To Save A Hunter On Blackhowl Plains

This objective takes a little bit of wandering, but you can complete it while you're working on other quests in the same area. As you explore Blackhow Plains, listen for an NPC Hunter to call for help. You might also see them under attack by a pack of wolves. These encounters spawn at random.

Defeat the wolves and speak to the Hunter; he'll thank you for your aid, then drop a Hunter's Reward, which c🍸ontains some minor loot for your trouble.

You can save as many Hunters as you find on the Plains; it's no🎃t limiꦕted to just this quest.

How To Set The Wolf Trap

There are a handful of Wolf Traps throughout the Plains; activating them will cause a large pack of wolves to spawn and attack. They're easily distinguished, as they look like a large wooden pallet covered in meat.

The easiest traps to find are just off the main road going north and along the southern shores of the lake, both easily reached from the Western Campsite. To comple🧸te the objective, you need to activate the trap, fight off the wolf attack, then check the trap again.

Once you've coꦉmpleted all three objectives, you'll be able to select your reward; tokens for enchanting Uncommon Weapons, Armor, or Accessories.
