Upon reaching the Carmine Forest for the first time and activating its Waypoint, you will gain access to the A Goblin's Important Job s꧑ide quest, allowing you to tackle it almost instantly afterward—something we strongly suggest doing, as it won't take all that long.

With the Waypoint active, begin tracking the quest and pull up your map to see the first step of the quest is just west of the Waypoint. It's nearly directly beside the thing. Follow the marker from here until you reach the first step of the side quest!

You can either follow the trail up and around to the Old Goblin Town or run down the steep slope from the Waypoint directly to it; either way, it is qu🅘ick and won't take all that long to reach.

Talk To Goblin Lich At Old Goblin Town

Once you arrive at the Old Goblin Town, you will see that it has been flooded, and Lich will be standing off to the side, desperately looking for some help. Speak with Goblin Lich and agree to help them drain the water from the town via the nearby Drainage Devices, lead🎃ing you directly to the next part of the quest.

Control The Drainage Device

There will be four Drainage Devices here, and - at first - it may seem like you have to utilize all of them somehow in order to extract all the water from the town. However, it's not nearly that convoluted and is quite simple. Simply walk up to one of the Drainage Devices and begin spam-activating it repeatedly until the water is gone.

You must hold down the activation key until the bar fills up completely, which will then cause water to pour out of the Drainage Device. Keep hammering on the Dra൲inage Device until you've successfully unflooded Old Gob﷽lin Town, allowing you to proceed to the third and final step!

If all four Drainage Devices are somehow being used by other players, you must wait until one b🎉ecomes avail💃able to use it, as you cannot interact with an object currently being used by someone else in Throne and Liberty. This shouldn't happen, but if it does, just patiently wait your turn!

Talk To Goblin Lich Again

After successfully draining the water from Old Goblin Town, Lich will thank you and quickly run into a house and retrieve an item before returning back to their initial spot. Patiently wait until he does that and then speak with him once more afterward.

Finishing your conversation with Lich will have them leave the area, completing the A Goblin's Important Job side quest along with it, giving you some decent rewards for your efforts. While you won't get a unique or rare weapon or a bizarre Morph out of it, you will get upgrade materi🅺al💖s and a good chunk of EXP, making it worth your while.
