I'd consider around 55 of the Mega Man games to be canon. I'm counting the portable games there, but not collections, odd spin-offs (the Soccer game isn't canon), and re-releases. Personally, I've beaten about 27ish Mega Man games, which seems like a lot, but isn't even half of them. I need to play through those Zero games! How many have you beaten?
