From the get-go, the Netflix show has been very different from the games, only drawing from the books. However, it has made changes to this source material too, which was proven to be incredibly controversial with fans. This was made worse when The Witcher's creator Andrzej Sapkowski said that he gave the team behind the show some ideas🎐, but wasn't listened to. That said, Sapkowsk🍸i not being keen on an adaptation of his work is hardly anything new.
