It's only a short mission, but it still includes a big fight, an investigation, and a final choice. Unfortunately, t💜he quest also has a significant bug that stops many players from finishing it. However, it's okay as there is a work-around for the said glitch, which is explained in this guide, alongside information about how to complete every other part of the quest, too.

How To Begin The Quest
Unlike many secondary missions, this is not one you find on a notice board. Instead, the starting point is in the central area of Skellige - more specifically, on the road between Blandare and the Miner's camp. You'll know if you're in the right spot because there will be a Cyclops and an overturned wagon there.
Before you can truly begin the quest, you need to take the monster down. Cover your silver blade in Ogroid Oil and possibly equip Quen in preparation for this battle. As you'd expect from their size, Cyclopses are very strong but slightly slow. The best tactic is to roll around the creature to get to its side or behind it, then use quick attacks to whittle the big guy's health down. Once the beast is ൲taken care of, the real quest wil♔l start.
Investigate The Cart And Follow The Blood Trail
The first thing you need to do is investigate the broken cart that the Cyclops was beside. Examine the corpses of both the human and the horse, and Geralt will give his analysis. On the other side of the road, directly across from the body, you can find the beginnings of a blood trail with the help of Witcher senses. As you'd expect, you need to follow the blood splatters.
It'll lead you to a group of Nekkers - not 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the mostꦦ powerful monsters in the game, so you should easily be able to slice through them with fast or strong attacks. Close to the beasts is another body that you must examine to find a letter. Read the piece of paper by either hitting the on-screen prompt or going into your inventory and selecting it from your quest items - it's titled "Letter To Yanne."
Deliver The Letter To The Blacksmith At Kaer Trolde
Head to the Kaer Trolde keep,🌱 which is at the end of a long stone bridge. The smith you're looking for is in the small courtyard beside the main entrance. He's the one with the large scarf, a sleeveless shirt, and little tattoo dots on his arms.
There's a very well-known bug where the man is not there, or you simply can't talk to him. If you fall victim to the glitch, then save your game and meditate to pass the time, and if he's still not available, keep meditating until he is. Once you can speak with the smith, tell him that you've found a letter from his mother. He'll ask how you got ahold ofಞ the message, and you have two responses:
- "Found it on your sister's body." - You'll get 25 experience points and 20 coins for speaking the truth.
- "You'd rather not know." - By selecting this dialogue option, you'll still get 25 experience points, but he'll refuse to do business with you for a while.
Regardles💛s of what you say, the quest will come to an end.
