You will be confronted with a swarm of arachnomorphs at the entrance. These monsters strongly resemble spiders thanks to their tarantula-like exoskeleton and webbing, which they use to restrain Geralt.
After you survive the first swarm, search the corpse near the entrance to retrieve the letter and key en💝ded for the quesꦯt.
Reaching The Treasure
The reward is deeper in the cave, through another swarm of arachnomorphs. Unfortunately, there are no shortcuts, meaning that you wil🦹l need to traverse the length of the cave to reach the chest.
There will be another swarm of arachnomophs before you reach the last chamber, where a final and larger arachnomorph awaits.
This foe will fight differently than its smaller brethren given that it does not have a swarm to rely oꦗn. Deal with it similar to a single, large monster instea🌳d of a large group of smaller ones.
Look for a half-buried box next to a shovel in the last room. Your reward of Nilfgaardian florens is locked inside. While you won't be able to use this currency immediately, you can exchange it for crowns at the Vivaldi Bank in Novigrad.
