Locate The Putrid Grove

Speak With A Beggar
There's one beggar who will reveal the password you need to enter the Putrid Grove. You can find this beggar near Vimme Vivaldi. After a brief conversation with this beggar, he'll tell Geralt the password, and you can travel to the Putrid Grove's door and use the phrase "Old Sow's Farrowed Piglets" to enter.
Fight Drowners and Bandits
Head toward the Nov💃igrad Docks and dive into the water. Swim toward the end of the canal until you're almost at the docks, and you'll encounter a bridge. The right side of the bridge is where you can find the bag and the key. A yellow circle marks the area on your mini-map.
You'll see an entrance nearby, which requires the key from the body to open. Climb up the ladder, where you'll encounter a few thieves. These characters are hostile, so you need to defeat them in combat before continuing. The main thief will allow you to enter once he's almost dead; now you c⛦an enter the Putrid Grove whenever you're ready.
Follow A Thief
You'll receive three areas of interest where you can find a thief in Novigrad through 'The Pyres Of Novigrad' quest. Travel to one of the areas on the map and find a thief. The thief will walk to The Butcher's Yard Theater, and you need to follow the🍰m. Eventually, the thief you're following will give a coin purse to a different character, and you need to start following them instead.
Keep following the second character until you reach The Butcher's Yard Theater and walk up to the door. Since you won't know the password if you choose this route, you'll need to use the Axii Sign or pay 50 Crowns to gain entrance to the area.
Go To The King Of Beggars' Base And Speak With Him
Once you enter the Putrid Grove, travel to the location with the quest marker and enter the room. The King Of Beggars and Triss are together, and you can converse with him for a short time before Geralt and Triss can leave. When speaking to Triss separately, she'll explain that she needs you to come alon♕g to♓ pick up a delivery.
Follow Triss to a smuggler by the name of Kluhg who has Triss' package. Kluhg apparently lost the delivery in the water nearby, so you need to swim into the water and retrie🥃ve it. However, first, you need to enter the cellar.
Follow Triss To The Basement And Recover The Lost Parcel
There are Temple Guards nearby, so enter the cellar with the quest marker to avoid detection. Other than a few Drowners you need to fight, the cellar doesn't have much of interest except the secret passage that you can open using your Witcher Senses.
You need to follow the water until you reach the final bridge in the canal, but don't swim into the harbor. A sack containing Triss' item is next to one of the pillars holding u♎p the bridge, as you c🀅an see in the picture above. Retrieve the item and speak with Triss to receive the next objective.
Triss will take bring you to a warehouse with Brandon, a client who she is working for in the warehouse. Help Triss with this short task to continue. Geralt can ask Brandon about receiving payment upꦛ-front; however, this choice is optional. Head inside the wareh🌞ouse and continue with the objective.
Put Down Incense For The Rats In The Warehouse And Defeat The Witch Hunters
Inside the warehouse, place incense down in three areas. The quest supplies the incense, and you can find the three spots by using your Witcher Senses. Speak to Triss once you place the incense, and you'll enter a conversation with a few dialogue options. Triss activates the incense, which will complete Brandon's job. Unfortunately, Brandon ran to get Witch Hunters while the two of you were placing down incense.
You'll interact with Brandon one more time, and then he'll run away, but the Witch Hunters will stay to fight Geralt and Triss. Once you defeat the Witch Hunters, speak to Brandon again for another short dialogue sequence. Talk to Triss after confronting Brandon, and she'll tell you the location of Corinne Tilly, who m🍒ay have clues in the search for Ciri, but that's for a different quest🌱.
