There are three ways to begin this quest, all near Lindenvale

Talk To Dolores |
The former noble, Dolores Reardon will be ejected from a house when you first arrive at Lindenvale. Talk to her to start the quest. |

Visit The Manor |
The quest will start automatically if you wander into the manor before speaking to Dolores. |
If you speak to Dolores first, before going to the manor she will give you a key to her lockbox. Without any money, this will have to be your reward. If you went to the manor first, you can get the key from her later.
This quest is heavily affected by Letho's fate. He acts as the antagonist of The Witcher 2 and can be killed at the end of the game. Unless you imported a save or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:simulated a Witcher 2 save, Letho is dead.
If Letho is alive, the monsters will already have been killed and the quest 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ghosts of the Past will start.
The manor is infested with wraiths. They can be killed with the usual mixture of Yrden and Moon Dust bombs. Once they have been defeated, you can search the manor for your reward.
It's alright if you forget to claim your reward. You can always return to the manor to search for it.
Where The Chest Is Located
Dolores' chest is inside the main building, attached to the barn. Unfortunately, the main door is locked. To unlock it, go to a house on the northwestern corner of the manor and find a key in the corner of the building.
This key will unlock the main building. Once inside, use your Witcher Senses to find some words written on a wall. Interacting with it will reveal the chest, allowing you to claim your reward.
Dolores' savings are in florens, a currency not used in Velen. You will have to go to Novigrad to have the curreౠnc▨y converted into something Geralt can use.
Finding Further Secrets
You can earn additional experience points if you discover Dolores' brother's fate. You will need to enter the cellar, behind the main building and search the basement for a weakened wall, highlighted in red with your Witcher Senses. Use Aard on the wall to break it down and find a body inside.
He had written his final moments on the notes next to his body. It would seem that Dolores' husband sealed him inside, leaving him to die alone. Bring the notes back to Dolores to earn the extra reward.
