Starting Echoes Of The Past
After stealing the Mask of Uroboros and getting Crach an Craite's support in The King is Dead, Long Live the King, Yennefer travels out ♎to the site of a🐲 magical cataclysm believed to have been caused by Ciri.
You will have to join her there, taking a long journey through the island of Ard Skellig to reach the Druid's Camp where you find her arguing with Ermion.
This journey is a good chance to unlock Fast Travel points th🌳roughout Ard Skellig if you have just arrived at the island.
According to the druid, using the Mask of Uroboros would be foolish. While it would allow its users to peer into the past, its legend claims that the sea would swallow Skellige if it was ev🧔er used, not to mention𒉰 that it can only be used once.
Yennefer, in true Yennefer fashion, takes the chance to use the mask anyway and rushes into the de♎s☂troyed forest to search for any clues left by Ciri.
Searching The Destroyed Forest
Ermion and Geralt chase after her. You will find Yennefer being attacked by a pair of foglets. Help her defeat the two mꦬonsters for another conversation to begin.
Yennefer will help you in battle by using her magic to damage and stun the foglets. Her assistance is particularly helpful by delaying the foglets from turning invisible, letting you deal more damageꦍ at each opportunity.
What's done is done, and Ermion will try to manage the weather while Yennefer gives Geralt the mask and asks him to use it.
You are looking for small motes of green sparks, similar to the echoes left in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:A Towerful of Mice, earlier in Velen.
Don the mask and stand next to Yennefer. If done correctly, the two will comment on the ghostly pair of people created by the mask. Geralt recognizes Ciri, indicating that you are on the right path.
This pattern will repeat twice, with a foglet attacking at each site. Once the 🏅foglet is felled, Geralt 𝐆and Yennefer will talk before moving to the next site.
Ermion will rejoin the pair at the fourth location. Geralt and Yennefer will piece together what had happened in the forest. The Mask makes it clear that Ciri had destroyed the forest in self-defense and was fleeing a set of attackers.
They use an echo to find the body of a slain attacker under a collapsed tree. Yennefer will use her magic to lift the debris, revealing a warrior of the Wild Hunt. Ermion, while shocked, tells them that the Wild Hunt had destroyed the village of Lofoten not long ago, giving them their next lead.
The quest ends at this point, though Yennefer asks Geralt if he wants to travel with her. Accepting her offer will bring you directly to the village while turning it down will make you find your own way there.
You may want to accept Yennefer's offer if you have not done much exploring. Lofoten is on a different island and will take a long time to get to. By traveling with her, you will avoid the trip and have a Fast Travel point on Hindarsfjall.
