Starting Ciri's Story: The Race
This quest begins automatically during Family Matters. As promised, the Baron tells Geralt more of Ciri's brief stay when the witcher returns after meeting Voytek the Fisherman. The Baron will begin✤ telling the story, sending you into a cutscene mid-quest.
While short, this quest cannot be avoided once you start the conversation.
It begins with a celebration after a hunt. You will have to choose how much Ciri tells of her past and her attitude toward the men through several choices. They will not affect the outcome of the quest.
Racing The Baron

The quest marker shows the shortest route to the objective, not the racetrack. You will need to follow the solid yellow line instead of the dotted one to stay on course. You may miss checkpoints otherwise. |

Your horse will not be able to gallop if its stamina is depleted. You will need to ensure that it will have enough to stay ahead of the Baron. Block the Baron |
