Ciri might have a witcher's training, but she lacks the mutations. She has a smaller array of skills to rely on, though she has a unique dodge to compensate.
You will need to defeat the wolves. Use your quick attacks to whittle down their health and make sure to be cautious. Ciri does not have any potions to heal with. The child will climb down from the tree once the wolves are slain and introduces herself as Gretka.
Discovering The King Of Wolves
Gretka explains why she is alone in the woods and tells Ciri that a monster called the King of Wolves has made the swamp its territory. It wil🤡l likely threaten both of them.
After a short conversation, you can continue on, reaching another pack of wolves surrounding a cow's carcass. Once this second pack has been defeated, the pair will find a dismembered body in a small boat.
Ciri will inspect the body, using the same process Geralt does. You can dictate what she inspects and end the investigation at any time. If done correctly, Ciri will deduce that the King of Wolves is a werewolf and begin to prepare accordingly.
If you do not inspect the chest, legs, and belly, Ciri will incorrectly identify the monster responsible. This would affect her𝕴 preparations, making the subsequent encounter more difficult.
Without a silver sword, she will need to create the appropriate oil needed to harm the monster. Ciri will🌱 need to gather the following ingr🌼edients.

There will be a third pack of wolves to defeat, providing you with enough ingredients to create the blade oil. Once everything has been gathered, Ciri will stop and prepare the oil.
Defeating The Werewolf
W📖ith preparations made, Gretka and Ciri continue their attempt to leave the swamp, entering a cave where they find the King of Wo♛lves attacking a defenseless man. Ciri jumps in, putting you in a boss fight against the werewolf.
Without Quen and Witcher Signs, you will need to rely on dodging away from its claws andꦏ attacking when the opportunity♒ presents itself.
This werewolf fights similarly to its brethren, using claw swipes and lunges to attack its enemies. It is generally advisable to dodge to the side instead of backwards.
Ciri may not be a witcher, but she is no less competent. Another cutscene begins once the King of Wolves is felled, ending the quest. The main quest, Family Matters, begins next.
