You can play either as a Victim or a Family member as soon as you launch 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and each role has different objectives. As a Family member, your job is to make sure all the exits are c♔losed while you try to locate all four Victims and hunt them down🗹.
Each game has a total of three Family members, and players get the choice to pick their favorite character apart from the requirement of having a Leatherface player in every game. Your play style and objective can vary depending on your character's abilities.
Early Game As A Family Member
When everyone in the lobby gets ready and the game starts, you'll first see a small animation where the game tells you the four main Family objectives at the bottom of the screen. During this time, all Victims are also stuck in a similar animation but they see different objectives. Once that's over, you'll see Leatherface using a Chain Saw on a Victim.
This will be the only Victim who wasn't chosen by one of the players in the lobby. When this animation is happening, Victims will already be able to start playing the game and start freeing themselves from the rope. They'll probably do this as fast as possible since the Family can't track them during this time.
There are still a few seconds after the Leatherface scene before you can control your character.
This gives the Victims enough time to go through the Toolboxes and get a bunchꦅ of tools ready.
As soon as you can control your character, you'll have to do different things depending on where you spawn:
- If you're playing as the Leatherface and spawn in the Basement, your only task is to try to find the first Victim as fast as possible. To do that, you have to pay attention to the audio since Victims make a ton of noise when they move around or interact with things.
- The other two Family members spawn upstairs near one of the exits. Here, you'll have to start the generator and fix the car battery to lock down the exits.
When the initial few seconds pass, the general objective for all the Family members is the same. You simply have to locate all the victims and defeat them before they can escape. You can do this by cooperating with the 💫team or running around as a lone wolf.
How To Find Victims
Finding Victims is the biggest challenge in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre since there are a ton of hiding spots where a Victim can stay for a long time. Apart from listening to the audio, the best way to locate Victims is by increasing the family's bond by feeding Grandpa, which increases his level slowly.
Whenever Grandpa upgrades a level, he lets out a scream that detects all the moving Victims. This scream is upgraded with every level, with the final level being able to detect the still Vict🐼ims as well. Moreover, his scream starts occurring at regular intervals once you reac🅰h level two or three.
You can upgrade Grandpa's level by feeding him blood, with each level costing around 100 blood.
Blood can be ꧟harvested from the Blood Buckets or by hitting a🐻nd executing the Victims.
Other than that, you can also point out a Victim's location by checking the locks on various doors. Every Basement exit has a lock that needs to be picked by the Victims for them to get out. Similarly, the upstairs part of the map is also blocked by a few locks. If you see a lock not being present in one of these doors, it's good to assume that the Victims got out of it.
Sometimes, your teammates can also forget to lock the doors after they go through them, which is likely the worst mist💧ake as a Family👍 member.
Tips For Playing As Family
Now that you know how t꧒o prolong the time it takes for Victims to escape the match and how you can find them, here are a few useful tips that will giv𓄧e you an edge:
- Blood Buckets should only be used by the Family member with the highest Blood Harvesting Attribute as this allows you to get more blood and increases your vial cap.
- It's important to take your chases wisely and not focus on one Victim for too long since the environment usually allows them to escape easily. If you spend too long in one chase, the other Victims might get an easy escape.
- Use your special abilities as much as possible. Each Family member has their strengths and weaknesses. Although, some of these weaknesses can be mitigated with perks and Attribute distribution.
- Every Family member gets a shared ability that can be seen on the bottom right side of the screen. This ability can be used to locate the nearby Blood Buckets, other Family members, and the exits.
- Pay attention to red throbbing visual cues around the map. These signify a loud noise being made at the location. If you see this visual on the map and don't find a Family member nearby, the noise is likely made by a Victim.
