The Prick-Me-Not Spinning Wheel is the embodiment of domestic fantasy. Your Sims can live their Sleeping Beauty dreams by spinning golden thread they can use for making charms. Seeing your Sims using a s𝄹pinning wheel in a game with computers and telephones is charming. The Prick-Me-Not Spinning Wheel may be a bit niche, but it is memorable.

You're the Simmer with the power! What power? Why, the power of voodoo. The Little Voodoo Dolly is an object that is (somehow) buyable🥂 right away, and it can be used to cause all sorts of chaos and harm to those in a household🐭.

Mꦐost of the time, Sims can get away with using this object, but if the victim sees your Sim messing around with the Voodoo doll, they will put two and two together. The two will then fight and lose relationship - so don't torment the ones you love.

7 ꦏ Oxygenꦚ Bar

Piping Hot Oxygen

This is a pure piece of 1990s nostalgia for you. Remember oxygen bars? They were a fad in the late '90s where people would inhale pure oxygen through face masks. Supposedly it helps remove toxins and stimulates the imm♕une system, but it's mostly just a trend.

Superstar added oxygen bars to The Sims 1, allowing Sims to join in on the fun. Sims can get their dose of sweet oxygen from the Energize! Oxygen Bar, but bඣe aware that this can be a fire hazard (as it is in real life.) This object may be forgotten but it's an excellent glimpse at late '90s life.

6 ಞCake Dancers

Oh boy - strap in on this one, folks. Entertainers were one of the features added in the House Party expansion. They could be hired to perform at a party by purchasing a cake in Buy Mode. Once the cake is served, the 'sexy dancers' will 🌃leap out and dance for the guests.

The Sims was originally a more adult series. As seen later on, the Sims added some obje🅰cts that were way more sensual in nature. The Cake Dancers are somewhat dated, but there's still some charm to them. It's possible for the Tragic Clown will pop out of the cake🃏 instead of a dancer as well, invoking the wrath from everyone at the party.

5 Go-🌊Go Cage 🅺

Alright, you probably haven't forgotten this object - the Spazmatronic Plasmatronic Go-Go Cage is pretty hard to forget. If you've ever been to a party in the Sims, you've probably seen this. Entertainers, or even your own Sims, can hop insid🔯e this cage and get their go-go on.

This object dates from a time when the Sims was more adult. Something like๊ this probably wouldn't be included in the modern game, but it remains in the Sims for all to enjoy. The Spazmatronic Plasmatr⛎onic Go-Go Cage is both a time capsule of gaming history - and fun and kitschy as heck.

4 Black Hole ꦐ

Into The Unknown

The Sims was a lot more 'cartoon' like than later games. While later games would have a lot more s♋upernatural aspects, they seem a bit mo💞re grounded in reality. The best example of this is A Hole in the Ground. It's a hole in the ground.

...Okay, there's more to it. A Hole in the Ground is the transportation method to Magic Town for Sims. They just hop into the hole and be taken to another world. This is a very silly little object, but it's nostalgic in its silliness. It wouldn't fit into the modern game, but it isﷺ perfect for The Sims.

3 Genie

Three Messy Wishes

A genie's lamp doesn't seem like something you should be able to buy right off the bat. In later games, genie's lamps do exist but they arꦐe somewhat hard to obtain. Not in The Sims - you can just buy one whenever you feel like it. But with convenience comes drawb🃏acks...

A purple genie will appear from a lamp, and each lamp has three wishes. These wisꦿhes can be for things like family, love, money, or 🥃other things - but use caution while picking it. These wishes usually backfire, and will do things like ruin your relationships or summon an army of cockroaches. This genie's lamp is often forgotten - and maybe that's for the best.

True Tiny Terror

Behold: The face of terror. Imagine if you will that your Sims have suddenly fallen sick. Okay, no big deal, right? Sickness is a part of life. But suddenly, one Sim dies. And then another. And another. In hours, an entire family has died of an unknown plague, and you couldn't stop it. The cause? Guinea Pigs.

The Guinea Pig pet introduced in Living Large may be the single most lethal object in any The Sims games. They will spread Guinea Pig Disease if their cage is dirty, and they bite a Sim. This disease is highly contagious. Make sure to keep infected Sims quarantine🤡d and resting to increase their odds for survival.

No, we didn't get confused. In The Sims, babies were coded as objects. It had to do with the engine of the game at the time. The only two ܫreal life-states were Adult and Children, so if Sims wanted to reproduce, they had to spawn a screaming, sobbing object that would eventually grow into a child after three days. Lovely.

And yes, this does mean that if a burglar breaks into your home, it is entirely possible they will steal the baby. If they do steal the baby, the baby is just gone. Add tha𝓀t to the list of why the original Sims could be a horror game at times.
