You don’t need to be working in the Astronau🦹t career in The Sims 4 to build the Rocket Science career, though. Even those with a curiosity about universe (and the Simoleons to fund a pricy hobby, if the tinkering isn’t for work) are able to build a rocket ship in their back yard and set off into the stars.

Rocket Science Skill Overview

For those luminary Sims in The Sims 4, the sky can't possibly be the limit - they're 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:off to space in their backyard ships with the Rocket Science skill.

To begin building the Rocket Science skill in The Sims 4, you've got a couple of options.

You can:

• Read Rocket Science books from a bookshelf, as a cheaper way to get started on the skill before investing.
• Build a Rocket Ship to get some hands-on experience and learn firsthand.

There's only one ship available to start with, the Steampunk Flyamajig, which costs 5,000 Simoleons to buy and can be found in the Activities and Skills tab.

But when you first buy the Flyamajig, you'll receive only parts - your Sim needs to build the ship from scratch.

The process will take them several hours to complete and will likely need to span a few days if they're working alone.

However, once you've finished, your Sim unlocks a third option to build their skill: they can now gain the Rocket Science skill by going to space themselves.

Go On Space Adventures

While they're in space, you'll receive a variety of chance cards to give you a progress report on your Sim's exploration.

The adventures change depending on the choices you have them make, with both good and bad outcomeꦰs lurking behind every choic𒈔e.

Additionally, your Sim may find and bring back 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:assorted treasures while exploring space, such as rock samples, dead aliens, and live space life specimens.

This begins at level six of the Rocket Science skill after expanding your ship's cargo bay.

Repair Rockets After Crashes

As one might expect when building backyard rocket ships, your ships are prone to occasional crashes.

When this happens, you'll need to repair the ship before you can go on your next adventure.

This will cost 1,000 Simoleons and take somꩲe time to complete, leaving your Sim with negative 🧸moodlets for a few hours, too.

They should be grateful, though, since Rocket Ship crashes can be fatal to Sims.

Helpful Traits

You've heard the phrase, "It isn't rocket science," but this literally is, which means your🃏 Sim is going to need to be p꧟retty smart.

Additionally, since you'll be spending a lot of time outside working on the rocket, it can also be beneficial to have the Loves Outdoors trait, which gives 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:positive moodlets when spending time outside.

The Astronaut Career

If you're trying to earn some real money with those valuable Rocket Science skills, consider having your Sim become an Astronaut as their career.

With a couple of specialties for them to choose from once it's time to choose a path, they can decide between becoming a smuggler or ranger, a truly binary choice.
