You'll Need To Be Good At Playing An Instrument
In order to write songs in The Sims 4, you'll first need to be something of a virtuoso, by reaching Level Eight in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the following instruments:
- Guitar
- Piano
- Violin
- Pipe Organ (The Sims 4: Vampires exclusive)
Pipe Organ is a separate skill from Piano, and the two are not interchangeable. Your Sim will need to level both Pipe Organ and 🐻Piano separately, if you choose to make them play both.
It will take some time to get to the right level of an instrument, especially if you're starting to learn it from scratch, so be sure you're practicing your instruments often to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:get better at them.
How To Write A Song
Once you reach Level Eight in your instrument of choice, you'll see the option begin to appear to "Write Song" when you click your instrument.
Then, you'll choose the kind of song you want to write, and set your Sim to writing!
Higher levels of the skill allow you to write new genres as you continue to improve.
Like with other projects, you'll see a meter to track the progress of the songwriting, which filꦡls as your Sim works to complete th𒅌eir tune.
You'll then receive a push notification on the notification bar when you're finished writing your song.
License And Perform Your Finished Songs
Songwriting takes quite a lot of time - a number of in-game hours - but you have a few options for what to do with songs once you're finished.
- If you play instruments as a hobby, you're able to click your instrument to perform your songs at any time.
- If you're more of a career musician or are trying to make money as a freelance musician, you can use the mailbox to license songs.
You can only license one song per in-game week.
