Astronaut Career Overview
Explore Space Or Bring In The Baddies - Choose Between Interstellar Smuggler Or Space Ranger
Though you'll find a few careers that focus on athleticism and logic in The Sims 4, the Astronaut career is easily one of the most exciting. It's also without question one of the more lucrative careers.
Astronauts, though, don't get to choose their specialty until Level Seven of the career, at which point you can choose betw🎐een:
- Interstellar Smuggler, focused on bringing back all kinds of goods from the stars.
- Space Ranger, who tracks down the bad guys and brings them to justice.
Both career paths have a pretty even focus on Fitness, Logic, and Rocket Science, with both paths requiring each skill to ♒advance.
Helpful Traits And Moods For Astronauts
With fitness at the forefront of the Astronaut career, it helps to have an Athletic Sim go for this career. You'll be building your Fitness skill quite high in either career branch, and even once you decide on a career path, you'll still need to keep up your physical fitness.
There's also quite a lot of Logic and Rocket Science to both career paths, so giving your Sim the Genius 🏅trait can help make both of t♎hese challenging skills easier to build.
Either way, you'll need all three skills at some point, so it doesn't hurt to have both traits!
As for moods, that depends on which skill you're trying to build. Sims in Energized moods will build their Fitness skill more efficiently, while you'll need to be pretty Focused to study all things related to space.
