Starting careers in The Sims 4 is typically the same across the board - except some gig careers like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Odd Jobs. To start the Salary Person career, first select your phone in the bottom left of your screen.

From your phone menu, select the briefcase icon to enter the career tab. The career tab has the option to 'Find A Job'. Select this tab to go to the career selection menu, and then select the Salary Person Career. You can also join a career from the career menu of a computer. In the computer's career tab, select 'Find A Job.'

Salary Person Career Requirements

Luckily, the Salary Person career doesn't have a lot of requirements. In fact, there's really only a single requirement to meet before you can start and level the career; access to a computer.

You will need a computer in order to complete your daily tasks like 'Prepare Semi-Important Reports' and 'Optimize Spreadsheet Formulas'.

The Salary Person career also requires you to level the following skills in order to get promoted and complete job-related tasks: the Logic skill, the Charisma skill, the Programming skill, and the Writing skill.

You need to have access to a computer in order to practice Programming and Writing skills.

Salary Person Career Levels

Sims 4: A Sim starts the Salary Person career and receives a 'career started' notification.

The Salary Person career is a full career, so there are ten possible levels for promotion. The first four levels are entry-level and require you to level up your Sim's Logic and Writing skills. Here are the career rewards, daily tasks, and promotion requirements for♔ the first four levels of the Salar♑y Person career:

When you get to the fifth level in the career, you will have the opportunity to choose a career branch. Your choices are the Expert branch and the Supervisor branch. Each branch has different daily tasks and promotional requirements.

At the fourth level, you will also unlock the 'Charismatic Crooner' trait. This trait increases the speed with which you level the Singing skill as well as helps your Sim form stronger bonds with co-workers. Think of it as a reward for all your Sim's embarrassing after-wor💜k Karaoke parties.

Expert Career Branch Levels

Expert Sims will need to excel in... well, Excel! Sims entering the Expert career branch should get ready to look at computer screens for an inhumane amount of time, because this career branch revolves around filling in spreadsheets and completing data analytics.

The Expert career branch requires your Sim to level their Logic skills as well as their Programming skills. Your Sim will be dealing with finances, numbers, and lots and lots of spreadsheets. Think of this branch as the finance manager's branch.

Sims that already enjoy the Programming skill and computer tasks are best suited to this career branch.

The promotion skills for the Expert branch are Logic and Programming. To get promoted to level six in this branch, you need to reach Programming skill level three, so it's best to start leveling your Programming skill while you're in the basic Salary Person branch.

Here are the career rewards, daily tasks, and promotion requirements for the Expert branch of the Salary Person career:

Supervisor Career Branch Levels

The Sims 4: Two Sims enjoy karaoke night

As a Supervisor, your Sim will need to be a good public speaker and have good Sim sense. The skill leveling requirements for the Supervisor branch are Logic and Charisma. No one wants to listen to a boring supervisor, so Sims who are well-suited to social tasks will do best in this career branch.

Because Charisma is the special skill associated with the Supervisor Branch, you want to make sure that your Sim is as social as possible.

Next time your Sim's phone beeps and your Sim is asked to head to a lounge for open mic night, go! Open mic night is a great way to level your Charisma skill.

While the Salary Person career is a full-time job for your Sims, there are more ways to get promoted than just going to work. Here are a few ways you can boost your Sim's earning potential in their off-hours.

Skill Resources

Have your Sim utilize the many skill-leveling resources in the game. Your Sim can research topics on the computer, purchase and read Skill Books, and attend Skill Classes to boost their skill progress in promotion-specific skills.

You can order Skill Books and sit in on Skill Classes through the gifting and business menus on your Sim's phone.

Hobbies

The Sims 4: A Sim boxes for fun

All work and no play is a brilliant way to ruin a Sim's day. Your Sims get days off for a reason. Use them!

On your Sim's off days, choose to indulge in hobbies that improve your career-specific skills. For the first four levels of the Salary Person Career, consider having your Sim start writing a novel. Practicing writing and publishing written works are not just a great way to practice your Writing skill, but can also serve as surplus income.

For the Expert branch, your Sim needs to be a good Programmer. Use your computer to program games and create new plugins. Computer programming is a great hoღbby for your Sim to pick up in the Expert branch.

The Supervisor Branch revolves around being a people-person, so Sims aspiring to join this career branch should take part in social hobbies like comedy, acting, or even singing.

Lifestyles

One of the best additions to the Sims 4 comes in the Snowy Escape pack. Lifestyles are a new category of interactions and perks for your Sims to explore. Lifestyles give your Sims bonuses based on their habits and life choices.

You can unlock lifestyles by choosing interactions that promote that lifestyle. For instance, for the 'Coffee Fanatic' lifestyle, your Sim sh🥃oul🌠d live, drink, and breathe coffee.

The best lifestyles to have in the Salary Person career are the Coffee Fanatic, Sedentary, Techie, and Workaholic lifestyles.

The benefits of each of these lifestyles vary, but here's the break-down of what lifestyle traits are the most beneficial to the Salary Person career:

Lifestyle

Performance Boosts

Best Career Branch

Coffee Fanatic

  • Increases work performance when your Sim drinks coffee before work.
  • Increases skill gain after drinking coffee.

All Salary Person Career branches

Techie

Sedentary

All Salary Person Career branches

Workaholic

  • Increases work performance in all careers.
  • Slows need decay while at work.
  • Gives extra boosts for Sims in the Salary Person Career.

All Salary Person Career branches

By far the best lifestyle to have as a Salary Person Sim is the Workaholic lifestyle. Workaholic Sims can stay late at work, have a less-severe need decay at work, and are all around hard workers. They won't get as tense when returning from work, either.

Moodlets

The Sims 4: A Sim psychs him self up in a mirror

Every career in the Sim has a special moodlet that boosts Sim performance in that career. For the Salary Person Career, there are actually two moodlets that give Sims a performance boost: Focused and Confident.

For Sims in the Expert branch, Programming and Logic Skills will increase more quickly when the Sim goes to work with the Focused moodlet. The Focused moodlet boosts Logic skill gain.

For Sims in the Supervisor branch, Charisma and Logic are the two skills you'll be leveling. For this career branch, it's best to go to work feeling Confident, as the Confident moodlet boosts Charisma Skill gain. However, since Logic is required for all Salary Person branches, you will still get benefits from going to work with the Focused moodlet no matter what branch you're in.

Some ways to get Focused is to vacuum a room to perfection, listen to focus music, or use the 'Research' option in the computer's 'Web' tab. Some ways to get Confident include having your Sim brush their teeth, 'Psych Self Up' in a mirror, or experiencing a major life event like a promotion.

Traits And Lot Traits

The Sims 4: A Salary Person Sim plays trivia with Lin-Z the AI Sim helper.

Traits and lot traits are another great way to boost your Sim's performance in the Salary Person Career.

To get your Sim Focused more often when they head to work, give your Sims the Genius trait in the Create A Sim menu. The Genius trait gives your Sims a chance to randomly become Focused. Similarly, the Science Lair lot trait boosts Logic skill gain by fifty percent. You can add lot traits in the build menu.

The Genius trait and Science Lair lot traits are great for all branches of the Salary Person Career, but most affect the Expert branch.

Sims with the Self-Assured trait become Confident more frequently and have an easier time of becoming Very Confident when they are already Confident. Lots with the Convival Lot Trait boost Charisma skill gain by fifty percent.

The Self-Assured trait and Convival lot traits are the best traits for Sims in the Supervisor career branch.

Leveling up in the Salary Person Career branch will also give your Sims special reward traits like the 'Legendary Stamina' reward trait and 'Charismatic Crooner' reward trait.
