When Does The Reaper's Rewards Event Start And End?
Reaper's Rewards runs for eight weeks from September 24 until November 19, 2024. For the first six weeks, you'll unlock two new quests every Tuesday, which will then all remain active for a further two weeks.
Quest unlocks are tied to specific dates, so if you begin the event late you'll be able to complete all currently unlocked quests. If you ꦗbegin in the final two weeks, you'll be able to play straight through the event all at onc🐻e.
How Do I Start The Reaper's Rewards Event?
The event will begin automatically when you log in for the first time after it has started and enter Live Mode. A pop-up will inform you that Grim needs your help.
Don't worry if you get this pop-up and don't want to do the event yet. You don't have to do anything except press OK at this point.
After closing the pop-up, you'll see a little reaper icon in the top left-hand corner of your screen. Click this to open the event menu when you wish to start.
If you want to switch households at any point, you can. While the quests tell a story, they are mostly independent, so you can complete them with any household.
You need to be logged into your EA Account and playing online to parಌticip𝓰ate in the event and save your progress.
The quests will be tracked on a menu in the top left, visible on a toggle by clicking the Reaper icon. Complete these quests to earn event points and claim rewards.
What Are Event Points, And How Do I Earn Them?
Event points are the currency you'll need to claim rewards every week. Each quest objective will reward event points, with some giving more than others.
Event points continue to accumulate for the duration of Reaper's Rewards. You can claim rewards at set milestones.
The quests appear in the menu and are tracked in the same way the objectives for a social event are. Simplꦆy complete the tasks and reap the reward𝐆s.

All one-off rewards are put into the inventory of the active Sim at the point they are claimed. Many of these are linked to death-related features in the game, so it's likely that they may be needed for some of the quests. We recommend that you don't sell them!
The last five rewards are all one-off items, so if you do miss out on a few points yo🉐u sh🔜ould still be able to claim the permanent items.
Do I Need The Paranormal Stuff Pack To Complete The Event?
Week one's quests have already caused concerns since one of the chains requires you to 'Ask the spirits about Ambrosia' which you can only do if you have Paranormal Stuff and can purchase the Seance table.
There is clarification about this on EA's website under .
Some Quests are Pack-specific, so you’ll only see these if you have the Pack installed... Packs may help you earn Event 𝓀Points faster because you’ll have additional objectives to complete, but they’re not required to take part in the Event.
EA Help
In week one, we could claim up to and including, the Scare Seeker Lot Challenge without doing the Paranormal quest. Once we completed that final quest, we were also able to claim the Hap🐻py Potion.
EAs forums state that packs are not essential, and will just help you gain rewards quicker. An also suggests you may have Event Points left over if you complete every single objective.
Given this week's experience, combined with the official answers, it seems likely that you'll be able to claim all the main rewards listed each week, but the extras, including the Freezer Bunny Collectibles, may be at the crossover point. Thus, the pack simply allows you to claim a couple of consumable items slightly earlier mid-event.
