Emotional control is a value that refers to how well a child Sim can regulate their emotions and react to situations re𓆏asonably. A lack of emotional control will make your child Sim reactive and difficult.

When a child Sim with poor emotional control experiences a negative emotion, particularly jealousy or anger, they may lash out by destroying possessions and having breakdowns. Traits Resulting From Emotional Control

The way Sims are taught to handle their emotions in childhood will guide them in adulthood. Likewise, children who are t♛aught to handle their emotions with care will be more likely to let go of negative emotions faster.

When teenager Sims age up into young adults, they may be assigned traits that reflect their upbringing.
