Anybody who has truly played 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Sims 4 has watched in delight as their Sim disappears into a cloud of dust, limbs flying every which way, after engaging in a particularly nasty fight. Interpersonal conflict is one of the most dramatic and engaging aspects of The Sims franchise, but fights don't always blow over so well among Sims.
Unresolved conflict between Sims can throw a wrench in the works, now more than ever. With the addition of The Sims 4: Parenthood, the way Sims behave during childhood can have a big impact on how their adult lives plays out. Conflict 🌳Resolution is just one of five character values that child Sims are assessed on to potentially determine their adult traits.
What Is Conflict Resolution In The Sims 4
Conflict Resolution is a character value that measures how your child Sim mends fences with other Sims. Conflict is inevitable, but resolution isn't a guarantee. Sibling rivalry and playground squabbles may be unavoidable, but it's how your child Sim deals with it that really counts.
When sparring with siblings or arguing with their first teenage date, child Sims need the Conflict Resolution value to preserve their relationships (and avoid negative Moodlets).
Traits Resulting From Conflict Resolution
The way your child Sim approaches conflict can make a big impact over time. If a teenager leaves behind a string of rocky relationships and severed connections when they age up to a young adult, they could be negatively impacted by an assigned trait.
Luckily, the same applies in reverse. Children with a particular knack for smoothing things over may be rewarded a positive trait after aging up.
Your꧒ Sim may be assigned one of these two traits based o🧸n their performance:
Mediator |
Argumentative |
---|---|
Sim♒s with the Mediator trait can heal relationships betw𒈔een Sims who have damaged friendships and apply the same to their own rocky relationships, offering more successful apologies than other Sims. They can volunteer their time to mediating forums online. |
Sims with the Argumentative trait have a hard time bonding with others as they fail most of their interactions with those they don't know well. They rarely apologize successfully and get into more fights than the average Sim. |
How To Improve Conflict Resolution In Your Child Sim
Improving the Conflict Resolution character value is relatively simple, but it requires your Sim to get into arguments with others in order to exercise ꩲthe actions necessary to raise it.
For this reason, it mig🐭ht be better to command other Sims in your household to complete Mean actions against your child Sim if you also want to preserve your their Empathy value.
Child Sims with 🏅the Outgoing trait will have an easier♛ time building Conflict Resolution. Hot-Headed child Sims will find it more difficult to build.
To improve your child Sim's Conflict Resolution, command them to complete the following actions:
- Have parents teach them how to apologize
- Attempt to fix bad relationships, apologize, and make peace with those your Sim has argued with
- Beg for forgiveness, find common ground, and try to chat with those your Sim has poor relationships with
