Week One Quests And Rewards

There are two quest chains in week one, Whispers on the Wind and Attuned to the Echoes. You will unlock the following rewards:

Whispers On The Wind Walkthrough

The tasks are as follows:

1. Have a Sim spend time outdoors
2. Visit any park
   1. Go fishing in a pond
   2. Listen to the wind on a park bench

Optional (Requires Lovestruck)

1. Purchase a Romantic Blanket on a home lot
   1. Set up a picnic on a Romantic Blanket.

We recommend doing any optional questions first, since the quest chains will complete without them being done once you've done the last main quest in the chain.

To complete the first task, head on over to any park which has a pond. You'll need to locate the fishing sign and click this to select 'Go Fishing' or 'Fish with Bait...' As soon as your Sim begins fishing, this task will be complete.

Next, locate any bench in the park. Click on it to see a new event-specific interaction, 'Listen to the Wind'. Select this and wait for your Sim to sit and listen. The task will be completed after a few seconds.

You will likely find that the main task of spending time outdoors has also been completed. If it hasn't, simply stay in the park a little longer. You'll need to be there for an hour of in-game time.

Optional Quest

To complete the optional quest, you'll need to go to your home lot and then purchase any Romantic Blanket from Activities and Skills in Build mode. There are three types and they all cost $250.

Once you have the blanket, place it on your lot. Click it and select 'Set up picnic' then choose a food item.

You can choose another Sim to join you, but this is optional. Once your Sim has set up the picnic and sat down, the task will be complete.

Attuned To The Echoes WalkthroughThe tasks here are:

1. Ask one Sim if they hear the whispers too
   1. Go for a jog

2. Buy The Reclaimed Woodworking Table on a Home Lot
   1. Craft two Woodworking sculptures

3. Cloudgaze or Stargaze

For the first task, any Sim is fine. Simply start a conversation, then select 'Ask about the Whispers' from the social menu. Once you've completed this, click on your own Sim and you should see 'Go Jogging'. Select this to go for a jog and complete the second part of the task.

It's easiest to tackle the third task next by clicking your Sim again and this time selecting 'Cloudgaze' or 'Stargaze'. The option will change depe♔nding on the in-game time.

You'll now need to return home.

Remember to collect your rewards by opening the Nature's Calling menu. You can do this by clicking the icon of leaves on the wind in the top left corner of your screen.

After collecting your rewards so far, you'll now have the Reclaimed Woodworking Table. Go into build mode to purchase one for $500 from the Activities and Skills section, and place it on your home lot. You'll also need this for the next task.

Your Sim now needs to craft two sculptures. Anything appears to count for these, not just the items specifically named sculpture, but if you'd rather play it safe, then choose something from under the craft sculpture submenu.

When the𒈔 second item is finished, so is this first🔜 week of tasks.

Week Two Quests And Rewards

Once more, there are two quest chains here, Enigma of the Cove and The Comfort of Nature, and the rewards are:

Enigma Of The Cove Walkthrough

The tasks in this chain are as follows:

1. Have a Sim spend time outdoors (yes, again)
   1. Travel to Foundry Cove
   2. Dig up some rocks
   3. View the mysterious tree
   4. Optional (Requires Cats & Dogs) Adopt a dog
   5. Optional (Requires Cats & Dogs) Take a dog for a walk or ask them to go potty

2. Buy a telescope on a home lot
   1. Use telescope to look for signs

Foundry Cove is in Willow Creek. It's the neighborhood where the BFF family live, and is in the bottom right of the map. To get here, the easiest way is to visit the BFF household. Once here, you'll find that, as before, the spend time outdoors task will be completed while you are doing the others.

From the BFF household walk down the cul-de-sac towards the starter homes. Just off the main path which continues to the river is a dirt path between the lot next to BFF and the other starter home at the end of the road. Follow this path and just behind the first tree there is a rock you can dig.

Just to the side of this rock is a tree which always stays green, even in autumn, and has fungi and tendrils coming from it. This is the mysterious tree. Click it, and then select view.

If you don't already have a dog, the opt𒀰iona♕l quest is a lot of hassle and the most you'll miss from the event is an all-trait potion.

The final task is simple. Go to your home lot, open build mode and look for the Back Pocket Observatory. It costs $750 and is under Outdoor Activities. Place it on your lot and then click to select 'Look for Signs' and the task will complete. As before, if you want to do the optional quest, do it before this one.

Optional Quest

If you want to adopt a dog then select the phone icon in your taskbar and choose Home > Call Adoption Agency > Adopt Dog. You'll then be able to choose a dog and adopt it for 200 Simoleons.

Once you have a dog, simply click on the dog and choose 'Go for Walk' or 'Ask to Go Potty' from the social menu. If it's a puppy, you'll only be able to ask it to go potty.

The Comfort Of Nature Walkthrough

The tasks for this quest chain are as follows:

1. Buy a hot tub on a Home Lot
   1. Soak in a hot tub wearing the Flowing Fronds Swimwear
   2. Buy a tent (optional - requires Snowy Escape, Outdoor Retreat, or Star Wars: Journey to Baatu)
   3. Sleep or nap in a tent (optional - requires Snowy Escape, Outdoor Retreat, or Star Wars: Journey to Baatu

2. Complete one level of any Nature Aspiration
3. Craft two Reclaimed Wood Dining Chairs

Hot Tubs are in the Outdoor Activities section of build mode. If you only own the base game, you'll need to purchase the Birthday Hot Tub for $3000. However, Perfect Patio owners can choose Pringo's Heater Hot Tub for $1500 instead to save some Simoleons.

You'll need to claim the Flowing Fronds Swimwear and create an outfit using it in create-a-sim before selecting the hot tub and choosing 'soak'.

Optional Quest

To purchase a tent you'll need Snowy Escape, Outdoor Living or Star Wars: Journey To Baatu. Assuming you have one of these, you can purchase one from the Outdoor Activities section.

The cheapest tent is the Easy Camper Tent for $420 from Outdoor Retreat, and Snowy Escape has the Canvas Cabin for $420. However🌟, the only option from Journey To Batuu is the $1200 Resistance Tent.

Place the tent on your home lot and choose 'Sleep' or 'Nap' to complete the tasks.

Nature Aspirations

In order to complete the Nature Aspiration you have a lot of options. The DLC required is noted ✃for each one:

Wܫe recommend one of the base game options ꧒as these are the easiest. Choose from:

Freelance Botanist

Level One

• Plant Something 3 Times
• Weed or Water Plants 10 times.

This is simple to do on your home lot. You can purchase a garden pot for $50 from the Outdoor Activities section of build mode. Once this has been placed on your lot, in live mode, click the pot and select 'purchase seeds'. These are $31 a packet.

Purchasing two starter seed packets will give you enough to plant and water ten things for an easy completion of this aspiration for $111. You can plant all seeds straight into grass or dirt and don't need extra pots.

If you prefer, you can harvest plants from the neighborhoods, for example, in the park behind the BFF lot, and plant the♓se instead, but this can take longer.

Angling Ace

Level One

• Catch 5 Fish
• Fish at 3 Different Locations

For locations, every neighborhood in Willow Creek has a fishing spot, marked by a sign, along the river.

Simply travel along the river, catching one or two fish per location, and this is a no-cost, easy to complete aspiration.

The Curator

Level One

• Gather 10 Collectibles

You can gain collectibles by looking for frogs, digging stones, searching dirt piles and more. The more DLC you have, the more options there are. However, this is the most time-consuming base game nature aspiration, so we recommend either of the others.

For the final quest, go back to your woodworking table and choose Craft Furniture > More Choices... > Reclaimed Wood Dining Chair. These will cost you $37 each to craft. Once they are done, this week's quest chain is complete.

Week Three Quests And Rewards

Two more quest chains, Secret Sands and Symphony of Serenity, reward you with the following:

• Reclaimed Wood Dining Table Woodworking Recipe
• 5,000 Simoleons

Secret Sands Walkthrough

The tasks here are:

1. Have a Sim spend time outdoors
2. Visit Desert Bloom Park
   1. Draw in the sand
   2. Investigate the cave

3. Catch two frogs

These can all be done in one place, so travel to Desert Bloom Park in Oasis Springs.

You should be able to click on any patch of sand and select Draw...' then choose a pattern to draw, either a star or a face. After this task is completed, you need to head over to the cave.

The cave is at the back of the lot. From the back of the main park building and pond walk upwards, with the cliffs on your left. As you venture further up the map there's a small fishing spot with a large rock next to it. At the top of the water is a path which goes up between a huge rock and the cliffs on your left. Follow this path until you hit another fishing spot.

You should now be at the back of the lot. To the right is a small open area with seating and a grill, and to the left is a path up a hill. Go up the path, and you should see the cave directly in front of you. The entrance has a timber frame and will be boarded up.

Simply click on the cave and choose 'Investigate the Cave'. You can't do anything else here just yet, so go back down to the pond.

Click on the water at the pond and choose 'Look for Frogs'. It doesn't matter if you catch any or not, the task will be completed after you've performed the action twice.

By now, you should have also completed the spend time outdoors requirement, but if not, ꦛjust hang around the park a little longer.

Make sure to claim your rewards. You'll need some of them for𒅌 the next quest.

Symphony Of Serenity Walkthrough

1. Build the Reclaimed Wood Table
2. Buy a Grill
   1. Cook on the grill

3. Sleep with the Nature Soundscapes radio station in the same room

Firstly, go back to your home lot. You should have the woodworking table still from the earlier tasks. From here you can choose Craft Furniture > More Choices > Reclaimed Wood Table. To craft it will cost $157.

Once this is done, purchase any grill from build buy mode. Simply go to Outdoor Cooking, and you can get the Carbonette Charcoal Grill for $650. Place it outside and then click it to select Grill... followed by the food of your choice. Anything is fine, but grilled fruit is the cheapest.

To complete the final task, purchase a stereo such as the Kaboom box for $150. Place it on a table or dresser in your Sim's bedroom. You'll need to select 'Listen To...' then go through the menu to find Nature Soundscapes.

Stations are listed in alphabetical order, so you will need to hit more once or twice, depen♉ding on how many stations you have.

Once the station is playing, simply make your Sim sleep in the bed, to complete the task.

Week Four Quests And Rewards

The final two quest chains are Echoes From the Cave and Plants Can Whisper? These reward you with:

• Cove Stones Decoration
• Trail Sandals
• Touch Grass Weekly, Issue #4
• 500 Satisfaction Points
• Sleep Replacement Potion
• Want Refresher Potion

If you miss all the optional 🥀quests, you will not be able to claim the re-traiting po⛎tion and may not be able to claim the 10k Simoleons. I only did one out of four optional quests and could claim up to and including the 10k. Given how far off I am from the final reward, I estimate that completing two out of four optional quest chains will allow you to claim all items.

Echoes From The Cave Walkthrough

This quest chain requires you to:

1. Craft the Wooden Throne
   1. Use the Wooden Throne

2. Have a Sim spend time outdoors
   1. Travel to Duke's Hall (optional - requires Horse Ranch)
   2. Spectate competitions at the Equestrian Center (optional - requires Horse Ranch)

3. Return to Desert Bloom Park
4. Break the cave open and explore their secrets
5. Take photos in the cave
6. Share findings about the Forgotten Grotto

The Wooden Throne is an outhouse, and the recipe is an event reward, so make sure to claim it. To craft it select the woodworking table and choose Craft Furniture > More Choices... > The Wooden Throne. It will cost $500 to craft and you'll need handiness skill level 8.

If you've not yet got, this you can:

• Repair or Upgrade Items
• Read the Handiness Books you got as rewards
• Craft on the Woodworking Table
• Cheat

To cheat, press Ctrl + Shift + C on PC or all four shoulder buttons on console. This brings up the cheat code text box. In here, type testingcheats on and then press enter. Once cheats are enabled, add the code stats.set_skill_level Major_Handiness 10 and press enter. This will max out your Handiness skill.

While you only need level eig꧃ht now, you'll need level ten for the next stag𓆏e, so it's easier to max it out now.

You'll need to select the item from your Household Inventory in build mode and place it somewhere on your lot. Click on the outhouse and select Use Bathroom. You can also woohoo inside the outhouse, if you are that way inclined.

Optional Quest

Dukes Hall is the park in the New Appaloosa neighborhood of Chestnut Ridge. You'll need the Horse Ranch expansion for this, but it's very simple if you have it.

As soon as you enter the park lot, the first task will be completed. To complete the second half you won't even need to move. Zoom out, and you'll see the Equestion Center is behind where you spawned, directly opposite the park building.

Click the building and choose 'Spectate Competitions' between 7am and 7pm to finish the final part of this optional quest.

---

Next, head back over to Oasis Springs and to Desert Bloom Park.

You'll need to go back up to the cave at the back of lot, where you went before. This time you can choose 'Break Open', as long as you have level ten handiness skill.

Once the cave is open, select 'Explore' and then the following:

• Take Wide Path
• Climb Ladder
• Step Onto The Ledge
• Travel To Grotto

You'll then get a confirmation box to enable your Sim to travel to the Forgotten Grotto. Once you've gone through this process once you'll see an option to Travel To Forgotten Grotto by clicking on the entrance.

It doesn't matter what you take a photograph of. You can take a regular photo or a selfie by selecting your Mobile Phone, then going to 'Camera' and 'Take Photo', or any of the other similar options. As long as you are inside the cave when it is taken the task will be completed.

You'll now need to leave the area and go and find two Sims. Once you find them, simply choose 'Share Findings about Forgotten Grotto' from the social menu. You'll need to do this with two different Sims to complete the task.

Plants Can Whisper? Walkthrough

This final quest will complete the event and lead you on a journey to discover Plantsims, should you so desire. Her💦e's what you need to do:

1. Purchase a Magic PlantSim Stump on a Home Lot
2. Ask two Sims about PlantSims
   1. Place a Magic Bean in the Stump

To purchase a Magic PlantSim Stump, go to Outdoor Activities in build buy mode, and you'll find it for $410.

Seಞarching is often the best way to find specific items in build buy mode, especiall♋y if you have a lot of DLC. The search bar is at the top left of the catalogue.

Place the item on your lot, which requires𓄧 a 4x4 space, to complete the 🐼first task.

Next, find two Sims and use the social menu to 'Ask about PlantSims'. You'll find that they will give you a magic bean. There are six of these in total.

Once you have spoken to two Sims and completed the task, go home and place one of the Magic Beans in the tree stump.

This will give you a pop-up dialogue about PlantSims and complete the event.
