- You can still shoot them down if you're not interested.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Sims 4 is a micromanager's dream, but sometimes, it would be nice to see the characters take a little bit of initiative. Now, in at least one area of their lives, they can do just that, with the Lovestruck expansion pack giving Sims more autonomy over their romantic endeavours.
As reported by , the expansion now allows Sims and NPCs to try and form their own relationships, without the player having to hook them all up manually. The player is still able to turn down potential pairings, but it does mean that we won't have to make the first move all the time, with NPC Sims taking it upon themselves to try and advance the relationship.
"When another Sim wants to move forward with the relationship, you'll get a prompt to accept or reject this change," says Josh Contreras, senior game designer on The Sims 4.
He says you can turn this feature off if you don't want it, but it's there for those who want to see NPCs take the initiative for a change. "Ultimately, we just want you to be able to play your way."
A Look At The Sims 4's Lovestruck Expansion
For years, if you wanted to get one of your Sims with an NPC Sim, you had to be the one to make the move. It can make you feel a little desperate after a while, so at least now, we can let someone else put in the work. This will take the form of prompts on screen, giving you the chance to shoot the proposal down if you're not interested.
If this sounds like the feature you've been dying for, you don't have to wait much longer. The Lovestruck expansion pack will launch on July 25, which is next Thursday. It'll set you back £34.99, but is launching alongside a free update for all players.
