The status works in a similar way to Vampires and Spellcasters, with abilities used allowing Sims to generate points💧 and customize their occult powers.

Fairies can be good and harmonious peacemakers, neutral nature lovers, or fans of mischief and mayhem. 🧸The range of skills will ena🐟ble you to tweak your gameplay to any of those options, or a mixture of them all.

How To Become A Fairy

To become a fairy you'll need to head over to Everdew in Innisgreen. This neighborhood is home to the fairy hub as well as many fairies who make their home here.

You can ask the Fairy Council Liason outside the hub for advice on how to become a fairy, but this step isn't necessary. They will simply tell you to find a fairy seedling.

Where To Find A Fairy Seedling

You can find a fairy seedling by:

• Asking any Fairy - Although they don't always have one, your chances of success increase the better they know you.
• Foraging in Everdew - Make sure to use the general Forage Here option. You must be in Everdew; the other neighborhoods don't have any.

Summoning Mother Nature

Once you have the fairy seedling you'll need to plant it. However, this is slightly different to usual. You'll need to find an area of grass in Everdew. Then, rather than trying to move or click the seedling, click directly on the ground.

A menu will appear and you should choose Plant Fairy Seedling. Within a second or so, a plant will sprout before it vanishes and Mother Nature appears.

Getting Mother Nature's Charm

Interact with Mother Nature and select the option Ask For Mother Nature's Charm. This will give you a positive buff which will expire after a few hours.

Becoming A Fairy

Once you have the charm buff, simply go to Moondrop Springs. You'll need to click the water, a little away from the shore, and choose Become A Fairy. Your Sim will then move into the water and transform.

If the charm runs out, you'🍌ll need to repeat the pr🌌ocess.

You'll be given a set of default wings, but can go into create a sim to customize them. Wings have a wide range of sizes and styles, and while each one has three or four swatches, you can also completely customize them with the paint and stamp tools.

What Needs Do Fairies Have?

Fairy needs are a little different from regular Sims. They have the follo﷽wing requirements:

• Fun - As usual, fun can be generated by any activity a Sim enjoys.
• Social - Again, this is standard, and can be filled by talking to other Sims.
• Energy - Fairies still need sleep.
• Hygiene - Fairies also need to bathe.
• Emotional Force - This is a fairy-specific need which is consumed when fairy abilities are used. If it hits zero, the fairy will die.

How To Replenish Emotional Force

Emotional force can be replenished in the following wa🌊ys:

1. Absorb a Sim's emotions - Select a Sim, then from the social menu, choose Fairy > Absorb Emotions. Your Sim's mood may change to match the mood of the Sim you target, and they will be left with an uncomfortable debuff. This is why using detect emotion first is a wise choice, since this will use an emoji to show what a Sim's mood is, and you can decide if you want it.
2. Use A Fairy Home - Select a Fairy Home and choose Regenerate Emotional Force.
3. Use Moondrop Springs - Click on the water of Moondrop Springs and select Bask In Emotions. Your mood will change to that of the pool of water. The water color is an indicator, and you can also choose Ask Moondrop Springs How It's Feeling to find out for certain.
4. Drink An Emotion Potion - Bottled emotions can be harvested from a Moody Shrub, or taken from Moondrop Springs. Certain fairy abilities allow you to bottle Sims emotions, as does an Emotion Stone, crafted with the Apothecary skill.

Want a specific emotion? Once a day you can change the mood of a shrub and of Moondrop Springs. Certain fairy abi🌃lities also allow you to manipulate Sim's moods.

What Can Fairies Do?

Fairies have a few innate abilities, as well as custom traits and skills, which you can access as you level up.

All fairies can fly around. By default, flying around means they'll fly a few inches from the floor and just move a little faster than usual. However, you can also choose Instantly Fly Here, which works like the teleport ability.

Fairies can also detect emotions, allowing them to identify how other Sims are feeling. Depending on the result, a Sim can also absorb emotions. This lets them replenish their needs.

Fairies can also turn themselves small. This allows them to use Fairy Homes, and to play in some household items like sofas and toy boxes.

As a fairy uses their abilities, they gain ability points. These can be used to level up and select new abilities. There are five levels of fairy, and three main ability trees, as well as a general one.

Fairy Abilities

Fairy abilities are split into four trees. They are:

• Manipulation - Abilities that allow Sims to manipulate objects, ailments, and luck, for better or worse.
• Emotion - Abilities that allow Sims to influence others emotions and sentiments.
• Nature - Abilities that allow Sims to get the best out of plants and harvesting.
• Customization - Neutral passive abilities you can choose to apply to positive or negative interactions.

New abilities in each tree are unlocked as fairy Sims level up. The five fairy levels you can reach are: faint, glowing, glimmering, brilliant, and radiant.

Fai💜ries can continue to geꦏnerate ability points at max level, but it is much slower.

Only the abilities in the customization tree are either/or. The rest can be taken in any order or combination, as long as you are the correct fairy level to unlock them.

Manipulation abilities can be used for good or evil, depending on which way your Sim is inclined.

Emotion Abilities

Emotion abilities allow your Sim to directly affect others' moods.

Nature Abilities

The nature abilities allow your Sim to more effectively care for their plants and to gain more harvestables.

This tree offers five different either/or passive abilities. You can skip levels if you wish. Just choose which one you prefer to tweak your experience towards kindness or chaos.
