Challenge Overview
Each generation of this challenge comes with set traits, aspirations, and rules for the Sim. There's at least one rule that will require a pack in each generation, with some having a base game alternative.
All required and suggested packs will be noted at the start of each generation's respective section.
You aren't restricted to one lot or one world for all generations. You can move your Sims around as much as you want, so you should pick a world best suited for each generation's rules.
In each generation, you must use a random number generator to determine how many children your Sim will have. You will also have to complete the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:required aspiration in nearly every generation. There is a loose storyline, as the actions of one gene♒ration will have some effect on the following generation.
Generation One: Rose Quartz
Required Pack: Parenthood

Rules
To start a challenge all about family, this generation is focused on setting a solid foundation. You have to reach level ten of the Parenting skill, which will rise quickly as you care for four children.
To truly complete this perfect family, you must marry your soulmate and stay together until death.
One of your four children must be adopted.
As you care for the home, you must reach level ten of the Cooking skill, and at least level five of the Gourmet Cooking skill. Try to have your heir be the only Sim cooking for the household to max out these skills faster.
All of that while working on your career, having a choice between reaching level ten of the Painter career, or hitting level ten of the Painting skill while earning Simoleons by freelancing. It's likely easiest to send your Sim off to work, where they can work on th💝e skill while out of 𒁃the home.
Generation Two: Orange Calcite

Rules
If you have the Eco Lifestyle expansion pack, this generation is all about creation. You'll have to reach level ten of the Fabrication skill as you climb to the top of the Civil Design career, following the Green Technician branch.
You'll have to furnish your home with the items you make, which is much easier to do with the fabricator as you'll have a bigger selection.
If you're playing without that pack, you can complete a crystal collection and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:make your Simoleons selling your creations–handmade furniture, produce, etc. Focus mainly on gardening (which you have to reach level five in) and the woodworking bench.
Generation Three: Moonstone

This generation focuses on skill building–level ten in Logic and Fitness, and level five in Rocket Science and Parenting.
The highlight of this generation, though focuses on the Rocket Science skill. You will have to build a rocket, as well as fully upgrade the rocket. You will then use it to travel to the alien planet Sixam.
You get a rocket when you reach level ten of the Astronaut career (another requirement of this generation).
Hopefully, that's where you'll meet your future spouse as you also have to marry an alien who you will have four-five kids with. If you want to experiment with some Sim-biology, have this heir be a male who marries a female alien, as there's a chance both will become pregnant at once.
Generation Four: Sodalite

Rules
As this Sim grew up feeling a bit different from everyone else due to their out-of-this-world family, they want to connect a little more with those around th🍎em.
As they throw at least five parties over the course of their life, they'll need to reach level ten in Charisma and level seven in Comedy or Mischief. As you'll (hopefully) be interacting with a lot of Sims at these parties, these skills can rise pretty fast.
As for a career, if you have City Living they can join the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Social Media career and reach level ten following the Internet Personality branch. Or, as a Base Game friendly option, level ten of the Entertainer career in the Comedy branch.
For the other rules of this generation, the Entertainer career lines up the best with the skills you'll need to build.
Generation Five: Pyrite

This Sim is a quadruple threat! Level ten in Acting and Piano, and level five in Violin and Guitar! No wonder they're a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:five-star celebrity. What can't they do? Stay tied down, of course, as they will need to have two failed marriages, with only one child resulting from either one.
At least they will have someone to make their life a little easier, as you will have a butler to take care of things around the house. Try to spend most of your time raising the skills in public, as putting on performances will also raise your celebrity level.
Generation Six: Amethyst

Rules
The family butler from the previous generation is this Sim's best friend, and the inspiration to start a farm. As you build up the farm, you'll reach level ten of Gardening easily, while also completing the Base Game plant collection. If you have Seasons, you can swap that last rule out for reaching level ten of the gardening career.
The plant collection is not separated by pack, so if you're playing with anything other than Base Game you will have to keep track yourself.
An emotionally challenging aspect of this generation is that of the three children your Sim will have, one child will need to die for the next generation.

Generation Seven: Tourmaline

This Sim was greatly affected by the death of their sibling, which causes them to join–and complete–168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the writing career and writing skill in order to write the Book of Life, which can be used to resurrect deceased Sims.
Your Sim will then use the book to bring back their sibling, so they can live the life they always deserved.
The trick with the aspect is that for the Book of Life to work, it has to be bound to a Sim that is alive. You can tweak the storyline a little and ha🌌ve the sibling die after the book is written. Or, you could have a pre-set Book of Life saved to use later on to better align with the intended story.
Generation Eight: Bloodstone

Rules
Bitter and jaded from seeing how unfair the world is to some people, this Sim turns to a life of crime. At least they're good at it, as they must reach level ten of the Criminal career in the Oracle Branch. They'll also need to be level ten in mischief, which is tied in with the career.
After rolling for the number of children to have and having them, your Sim must cheat on their spouse and then divorce them. For the storyline's sake, make this scandal as messy as possible. But, be prepared for a lot of Sims to not like you afterward.
For added drama, your Sim will later get engaged but leave their new spouse at the altar. This sequence of events can be accomplished 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:using the wedding event featured in My Wedding Stories if you cancel all interactions before exchanging vows.
Generation Nine: Amazonite

After all the drama with the last generation, you deserve to relax. The skills for this Sim are all calming activities: level ten in painting, and wellness (Spa Day) or violin. As well as level five in knitting. Your Sim can never have a job, so they'll have more than enough time to work on their skills.
Or, maybe not. You will also have to fill the household with children, meaning your Sim will have six kids to care for. At that point, a live-in butler to help with childcare is a necessity. But, once they reach childhood, you'll have your weekdays free while they're in school.
As a break from it all, you'll need to send your Sim to the spa once a week. They'll really need it.
Generation Ten: Citrine

Rules
This generation is about standing out from the crowd and shining as an individual, setting off to university to find yourself🐓!
For the rules, it's best to apply to Foxbury Institute and try to unlock the Physics degree path. To do this, make sure your Sim maintains an A average in high school and some medium to high skill level in things like Logic, Handiness, and Robotics.
Once they get their university degree, they can slide into a higher level in a career. If they complete their Physics degree, they'll be able to enter the Engineer career at level seven.
To celebrate the end of the legacy challenge, have them adopt a cat and a dog!
