How To Get The Village Fair Ribbons

A pie entry in the Finchwick Fair in The Sims 4

To earn a Village Fair Ribbon, you need to have your Sim win first place in the weekly Finchwick Fair. The fair takes plaꦜce every Saturday from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM in Henford-on-Bagley. There are nine different fairs your Sim needs to win💃 first place. These are:

  • Chicken Competition
  • Cow Competition
  • Egg Competition
  • Garden Competition
  • Llama Competition
  • Milk Competition
  • Oversized Crop Competition
  • Pie Competition
  • Wool Competition

To enter the fair, you need to bring the corresponding item for the competition to the Finchwick Fair by placing it in your inventory. Head to the Gnome's Arms Pub and the fair is taking place right nearby.

Choose to enter your item in the fair by clicking on any of the stands, and picking Submit Entry. Then, yo🥂u'll choose the entry from your inventory. 🐲If your entry is of high enough quality, you'll win the first-place ribbon.

While you can win any number of ribbons from the fair just for participating, you'll only complete the Village Fair Ribbons Collection by winning first place in all nine competitions.

You can tell which fair is upcoming by checking the calendar. This will make it easier to prepare your entry for the u✨pcoming fair. Simply click on the Saturday that's coming up, and you'll be able t🔯o see what type of competition it will be.

How To Win At The Village Fair With Chickens, Cows, And Llamas

A Sim socializes with their chickens in Sims 4

The most important factor in winning first place for any of the animals is that they are well taken care of. They should be groomed, well-fed, and well-s𒁃oci꧋alized.

You can take care of your animals at any time, so long as you are on your lot. You can click on them or their housing (the chicken coop or barn) to feed them, bathe them, and socialize with them.

Make sure to keep their habitats clean, too. Even if your cow, chicken, and llama a🍷re clean, if their barn or chicken coop isn't, they can very quickly get dirty.

How To Win At The Village Fair With Eggs, Milk, And Wool

The option to collect eggs from a chicken coop in Sims 4

The products you get from your cows, chickens, and llamas are also dependent on how well you take care of your animals. If your livestock are healthy and happy, they'll give you better quality items to harvest.

You can get eggs from✅ a chicken coop that has female chickens inside. Cows can🍰 be milked, and you can get wool from shaving a llama.

Since you collect these items every day from your animals, you can collect a large variety, so you can eℱnter the best one in tꦇhe competition.

You can also use animal treats to get different types of wool, eggs, and milk. While entering a 🌄special egg, wool, or milk won't guarantee you first place, it can definitely help if it's good 𝓡quality. Here are all the special items, with the treat to feed your animals to get them:

Crops with high quality are more likely to win first place at the Finchwick Fair, just like animals. You can check the quality of your crops at any time by hoveri🌟ng over them.

Be sure to water them, weed them, and fertilize them. By having a higher Gardening skill level, you can also get higher quality plants to enter in the fair. Taking care of your plants daily increases this skill, so you'l♓l gain it as you 🤪continue to care for your garden.

Pies

Finally, pies that win first-place ribbons in the Finchwick Fair are also of high quality. Sims with a high Baking skill lജevel are more likely to bake high-quality pies.

You can also use fresh ingredients from your garden or purchased from food vendors to make pies with even higher quality. You can find the ingredients for specific pies by clicking on a fridge or stove, choosing Bake, and looking through the list of pies.
