Real life has a bevy of different weather, and with the introduction of Seasons, so, too, does The Sims. And while Dr. June’s Weather Control Device is a little OP, with handy Sims able to change the season at will, this weather-based expansion brought another real-life concept into the game as well - holidays.

There were also eigh🍃t rotating, less-impactful holidays, spanning everything from watching television, learning skills, or even sucker-punching your neighbors. And if those weren’t enough for you, you can always make your own, choosing everything from attire, attendees, and traditions.
But like all things in the Sims, not all holidays pack the same punch. It’s always nice to have variety, but we’d be lying if we sai🧸d there weren’t holidays we looked forward to more than others. So, whether it’s the things there are to do, the décor, or a handful of other factors, we wanted to offer Simmers a definitive list of holidays to look most forward to.
10 📖 The Lottery
For the low, low price of 100 Simoleons, you can purchase a ticket for your Sim to be put into the drawing for the lottery when it occurs. The holiday is floating, meaning it can come up at any time, but it’s w🐠orth entering if you can spar🦂e the cash.
Your odds of winning are definitely slim, with every Sim that has a house in the world considered to have “entered,” but materialistic and ambitious Sims enjoy the day, nonetheless. The winner will be announced at 10 AM the following morning, and should you win, not only will you receive 1,000,000 simoleons added t♒o your household funds🎶, but t▨he huge prize comes with a dazed moodlet, too.
9 ꧟ TV Season Premi☂ere
We always love a good social occasion in games like The Sims, and that’s just what TV Season Premier is: an excuse to gather your buddies at your house or a bar to watch the massive premier of a hugely popular show. The show will be a play on one that was popular at the time of the game’s release in 2018: “Peach is the New Orange,” “168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Odder Things,” or “Game of Sims.”
Your Sims will, of course, need to watch the premiere, but there are social requirements, too.🔥 You can discuss the show with frie🐷nds, but be careful to help your Sim avoid spoilers earlier in the day if they haven’t seen it yet, too.
8 📖 Neighborhood Brawl
It’s typically pretty frowned upon to simply walk up to your neighbors and try to fight them. But during the randomly occurring Nꦑeighborhood B💙rawl day, anything goes.
You can talk to other Sims and hype them up, but the main focus is squaring up yourself. And not only is fighting allowed, but it’s encouraged – your Sim will most likely claim the holiday was awful and be sad if you don’t let them get their piece of the violent pie. Clicking on most Sims will give you the option to fight them, and both of you will usuallꦬy enjoy the scuffle in the spirit of the day.
7 Prank Day
If you love the notion of messing with your neighbors,🔜 but fisticuffs aren’t your thing, then Prank Day might be much more your speed. Another floating holiday liable to pop up at any time, the goal of Prank Day is simple: mess with as many people as possible.
The day is centered on mischief interactions – clicking on any Sim and performing any action under the &ldquo🀅;mischief” tab will usually count toward your Sims’ enjoyment. Children and adults who are either goofballs or geeks get a particular kick out of these harmless fun festivities.
6 🧜 New Skill Day 🌠
It doesn’t matter who they are – everyone from homeless townie Sims to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the ever-illustrious Landgraab family will need to learn some skills at some point in their lives. Almost every action in the game co𝄹ntributes to a skill if it’s not direct personal care, and on New Skill Day, it doesn’t matter which skill you’re pursuing because all Sims learn all skills even faster on New Skill Day.
Tod𝄹dlers can’t participate with their cute little mini-skills, unfortunately, but everyone else is welcome to either try something new or buff up their abilities in an old pastime. Ambitious, creative, and genius Sims especially enjoy this chance to let their passions shine.
5 🌊 Rebate Day
Anyone who’s played a Sims game knows you spend a good amount of time in Build/Buy Mode, since it’s the on🍨ly way to design, create, and improve homes and public lots. What’s a neighborhood without buildings, you know? Unfortunately, just like the real world, furniture isn’t usually cheap unless you wait to get it until it 𓆉goes on sale.
And that’s just what Rebate Day is in The Sims 4. Any objects that cost more than 500 Simoleons are eligible for a 10 percent rebate, paid out to your household later in the week. Materialistic Sims particularly enjoy this h༺oliday, but we all like savings, don’t we?
4 Love Day
The first of the set holidays on our list, Love Day, is the Sims equivalent of Valentine’s Day. It takes place at the end of spring and is the only set holiday to not give your Sims the day off from work or school (which is why it’s last)💦.
Based on Valentine’s Day, the focus of Love Day is romance, obviously. Your three set goals are Romantic Spirit (which requires performing romance interactions), Give Flowers (which requires purchasing them ahead of time on your phone or computer), and Go on a Date (whichꩲ is pretty self-explanatory). This is a great chance to take time with your significant other or meet one if your Sim isn’t already spoken for.
3 New Year's Day
Made just as much a tradition in The Sims as it is in the Western world, New Year’s Eve occurs at the end of winter to wrap up your Sims’ calendar year. It gives everyone the day o♚ff from work or school in the name of remembering what we’ve done and celebrating what’s to come.
Use the box of supplies to Decorate for the occaꩲsion. Plan a social event to celebrate with friends and family, which allows you to enjoy the Party Spirit with others and Make Resolutions with yourself (and once made, you’ll have a wee🔯k to complete them). Finally, end the day with the Countdown to Midnight after 11 PM to ring in the New Year right.
2 H🌱ar🍎vestfest
Gnomes have long been a central tenet of The Sims, having debuted in🌺 the Makin’ Magic expansion for the first Sims game and sticking around ever since. But on Harvestfest, The S💮ims 4’s approximation of Thanksgiving in the US, they’re one of the main focuses of the day.

Our Sims want to Decorate, and between colorful decals and oversized Christmas trees, who can blame them? Like Harvestfest, you can make a Grand Meal and share the Spirit of the day. The re🥀al draw, however, is opening presents, either from a pile placed in your household or received directly from Father Winter. Time centered on love, light🌌, and presents sounds like a perfect day to us.
